  • I've got a 91 Accord Lx and the driver side door wont open... Any suggestions?

  • im having problems with my power locks, when i use my alarm remote or simply flip the switch all i hear is a click in the driver door panel. any advice?

  • oh yes is broken

  • I have this same problem on my 97 CL's passenger door. So are you guys saying that the piece on the bottom that's moving to the left and right from his thumb, has to screwed into place?

  • @MikeSwing No, that piece controls the actual locking mechanism. In my case, the plastic piece that compressed the spring was broken.

  • exactly what my back door on my 00 dodge neon sounds like

  • Sounds just like the actuator on my door lol

  • very common on 90's and early 00's hondas..

  • Yup, put a screw in it to compress the spring and presto, problem solved.

  • @scsporting4 My car has this exact problem. Where do I put the screw to compress the spring? Thanks.

  • @serniter Well in my case, the plastic piece that broke off was holding the spring in. I just screwed that piece back into place. You'll know where to screw it in depending on where the spring is located.
