the point of the ending in both the movie and the book is that louis creed has lost his mind at this point, think about it - he's lost both his wife and son, only to have them brought back corrupted so he's probably overwhelmed with guilt, horror and a how can this be feeling. which you would have if your dead son/wife etc walked in the door, he's panicked as well and the fact that his beloved son has to die a second time, this time by his hand. wouldn't you go insane ??
I was 9 yrs old when I watched this with a friend. I remember telling my parents that the movie Aracnophobia ( we had gone to the movie theatre to watch) was giving me nightmares and the reason why I was sleeping on the couch up stairs rather than in my bedroom downstairs. Victor Pascow and Zelda terrified me. Im sure I wont be able to sleep with my back to the bedroom door / hallway tonite. Its like a scar that never heals in your mind, no matter how old I get I still remember that fear.
i think this is more like how a father become crazy when lose a son. when i read the book i feel sad for louis:( he was a good father and the only thing he wanted was to be with his child again
@09adge13 Like I said Zelda is the one that scares the hell out of me. Not only her sight but the moaning as well! When I’m alone at night in the dark I, sometimes, think I hear that moaning and I become frozen with fear.
@09adge13 I was a dumbass too and watched this movie when I was like 9 yrs old. Pascow wasn’t that scary to me because he kind of provides the humor in the movie, believe it or not. And he was a good spirit! He was helping the Creeds. He was trying to stop Louis from going beyond the Sematary and he was trying to help Rachel get back home to save her husband.
Yeah, I heard about the remake and immediately thought it's definetly gonna suck. Remakes always do! I heard George Clooney is gonna be in it. But It's still probably gonna suck.
i love this movie, it scared the crap out of me when i was a kid, and sometimes i still have nightmares about this guy pascow. pathetic, yer maybe, but who cares =)
Pascow didn't scare me at all when I watched this. It was Zelda that kept me from sleeping...

Zelda was played by a man haha, maybe "she" won't scare you so much now. Well, maybe a little bit less.
