  • i saw this film and was very entertaining. Songs are awesome

  • o p nayyar`s magic & honey sweet voices of kishor kumar, rafi sahib, shamshad. an evergreen melody always memorable 2 echoe in our minds. used 2 listen the song in my childhood frm SLBC & AIR. its a splendid upload a gr8 nostalgia of the yester years.

  • There never was and never will be a greater singer than Rafi.

  • op is the king!

  • Rafi was a great singer, but somehow KISHORE with his better and dominating voice quality always dominated everybody else.

  • what a joke!

  • Yes yog66jee I was also for Rafee'svoice but some songs have been sung so nicely by kishorejee that we have to give him number 1

Amar prem, ek raaz Khilona and many other great numberst

  • @ddheb ji, if anybody wanted to listen God singing, he simply can tune into Kishore. This is, not at all, to belittle Rafi. He was amazing too in his own right. And so was Mukesh. Mannaday's voice still gives us a royale feel and we fall short of superlatives when we speak about Lata and Asha, the two pillors. But there was something in Kishore's voice that takes us to a different planet.

  • @yog66 Kishore da was never taken seeiously in the bigning..they kept giving him funny songs and he kept doing justice with that...Rafi sahib has already made his voice home in million hearts when kishore da started getting recognition as a great singer....Kishore's talent and vocal quality is unsurpassable..had he got some serious songs erlier he could grab some of the most maemmorable songs...see how Khayaam sahib did explore his talent in ...Hazzar rahan mure k dekhi..what a expression!

  • @SMohinder ji, thanks. You are absolutely right. hazar rahen............. was simly awesome. And what about " chingari koi bhadke" ? There are inumerable such songs. For curious reasons, at the peak of his voice, he remained under utilised. It is to his credit that he still gave so many memorable songs.

  • @yog66 U know I donot want to brag about my failed association with film industry, i been assistant director in a few movies such as Aaj ki Awaaz, ( B.R Films) and woked in production a little in Masoom ( Devi Dutt, Shakher Kapoor)...I met Rafi sahib and Kishore da personally and felt lucky to have touched their feet for sheer reverence for their talent...people who put down Kishore r just biased..Rafi sahib been at his best at times n so did kishore da.

  • @SMohinder Thanks. It will be very enlightening to communicate in future also.

  • @SMohinder-s mohinder a gr8 composer created butiful gems for hindi & punjabi movies. ur name reminds me of the gr8 legend who is in USA leading a retired life. i hv read ur comments & fully endorse ur views. all the singers r gr8 & best in their own capacity. rafi, kishore, mukesh, hemant da mannadey mohinder kapur, talat mehmood, suresh wadekar all r best so no comparison. but kishor was no less than rafi sahib in his talents tho got recognition quite late despite rafi being my most favorit.

  • rafi is in fact king of playback singers.he had a heavenly voice and eternal melody.

  • Absolutely1

  • Every body is looking at Kumkum's dance. I am liking JW's singing. Thanks

    for upload.

  • You are welcome SS, thanks.

  • I agree, ib42200 - what exquisite grace and charm in this creation- the music, the lyrics, shamshad's voice and kumkum's dance blending perfectly to produce unforgettable magic. These songs are an antidote to the toxic stuff that assaults the senses everywhere these days- clods and harlots lurching coarsely, parroting shallow, inane lyrics; bizarre music et al. Mind-numbing.

  • These artistes of yore made love and sex mysterious, almost sacred! I'd rather watch this than what passes for music and dance today. Love scenes are so outrageous, it's better to watch open heart surgery!

  • Can anyone see this sort of graceful femininity nowadays? Kumkum is the apex of subdued sex appeal so absent from the half-naked bollywood women!

  • You r spot on. I entirely agree.

  • It's instant nostalgia for those of us who heard this song in their young days and loved it. Thanks.........is it from Naya Andaaz? Where could I get hold of a VCD or DVD of this movie? Could you post Raat Rangil Gaye Re of Shamshad from Naya Andaz? Masterpieces from OPN, the best of them all........

  • What a melody! Simply classic. Op's music is just like a fragrance in spring air. Shamshad, Rafi and Kishore adds up to the color. what a combination.

  • It is a wonderful composition! Thansk for upload to revive my old memories!!!

  • Kumkum's dance is such graceful.

    Shamshad,s voice suits her perfectly.

This is one off her best song,

specialy her 'Ooa' is too sweet.

  • Kumkum's dance is mesmerising in this!

  • Oh srazdan, pleeeeeeeeese go ahead & post

    Meri neendon mein tum.

Don't do, Pahele Aap Pahele Aap.

    Please please post it.

  • I quite like this song. Was going to post the awesome Kishore-Shamshad duet "meri neendon mein tum" one of these days, but perhaps you could do that now.

  • This is from ' Naya Andaz'

Dilij1, Will you please oblige us by posting

Rafi & Shamshad's duet from same movie-

Meri Nindomein Tum Mere Kwabon mein tum.

let us remember O. P. Nayyar.

  • I was dying for this song.

    Thanks a lot.

  • very nice

    thanx4upload
