now theres an actual c frame tool that requires no scripting just click the brick you want and it puts all these arrows around the brick that u can use to c frame it
@orange451 Agreed. And by the way. Your orange451 on roblox right? Nice games :3. Im roboman26 on roblox. I could make some videos for you places if you want =o
@orange451 you cant really rotate bricks using CFrame to do this all you can do using CFrame is move the location of the brick and rotate it downwards not side to side
the rotate and other tool in there was part of c-frame technology, of course you could use 2 tools.... but i find it easier using just 1 that can do both jobs at once
This tool doesn't make much of a difference, all it does is limits your possibilities. Basic CFrame scripting is nothing bout typing in a value and pressing enter anyways :P
brickbuilder74's CFraming tutorial is quite useful, especially for making more-natural ramps embedded into a floor.
Either of these two techniques still requires plenty of time to make, though what ROBLOX needs to do is make a feature on ROBLOX Studio AND in single-tool form that allows one to move bricks on an axis through any object (1-stud or free), and precisely yet accurately rotate it on player-specified degrees (1-90 degrees, including whether to rotate it on X, Y or Z axis)
Well, doing cFraming or even just building in solo mode will cause many bugs and glitches. I never even recommend every building ANY part of your map in solo mode; not even for 5 minutes.
ROBLOX Studio is like virtual cryo chamber. It allows you to edit all sorts of things whilst the object you're editting is preserved and untouched.
well if you just build something in solo mode in a blank space you can save it and put it in the map in edit mode and script it or anything but I prefer using edit mode like you said
One of the reasons why anyone should never build in solo mode is because absolutely EVERYTHING moves all the time. You don't see the changes or realise, they're very small changes like a brick moves 0.00000003532mm every second in solo mode and on online mode.
You don't get it. There are all sorts of complex variables, anomalies, and complications within a virtual world. To strip it down to the most basic definitions, for example, scripts can start to kill each other off like a symptom of a server would be lag, which seems to be the most popular. However some other thing causes bricks to move ever so slightly that may effect the 'Perfection' of a person's map.

I just find the randomness rotate tool and if it rotates by 1 not 0.01 like I like I simply edit the script inside to 0.01

Ok then. So if you stood there watching that one brick for 2 hours it would of moved at least2 studs?

just copy the object in solo mode and paste it into your saved place
tada, glitch free.
