Isn't this supposed to be what prison is supposed to do? Rehabilitate? Anyone human who feels comfortable locking up another and throwing away the key isn't any better then the person they want locked up.. in my eyes..

You can only help someone who help's himself. I personaly think the ones who do not truthfully want to rehabilitate should be left in their cells 24/7 and fed with the cheapest food there is.

In the states, the conditions are thougher, but up here in Canada, prisoners makes barbecue in the yard....i understand though most times, criminals are the ones from the hood who never really got a chance...

You do know that the majority of prison inmates are in prison for crimes that aren't rape, kidnapping or murder?

With the right evidence, and if they are guilty for their crime then the time is warranted. I'm more troubled at those people who aren't in prison for those charges, but have to live, room or even eat with people who are rapists and murderers?

Where is there rehab for someone caught selling/using/holding drugs, while he has to eat next to a rapist kidnapping murderer?

@MacPete187 It's called a classification point system. If a person is housed with ppl with crimes more serious than their original crime, its usually due to their behavior once in prison.

Having been a former inmate at SQ, I truly appreciate everyone who was involved in manufacturing this series. Not only is it a healthy step for the inmates to progress forward in healthy manner, but it also gives the outside world a view that not all criminals are "monsters". I sincerely applaud Discovery for ther ideas and work, and the inmates who participated in this series!
