And by my count this vehicle does 0-60 in 7 seconds which is exactly what BMW claims a stock X5 35d will do, so if this is chipped someone wasted money

Wow out with the insults huh, cool you must be sjper smart. If you read all of the posts you would get i was saying. That just chipping a BMW X5 35d will not jump from the stock 265 hp. To 304 at the rear wheels......wont happen 286 i can see but 304 im callin bullshit. And im talking about an American version not UK.

People claim higher hp all the time and crank hp doesnt mean shit....if u got 500 crank and only 350 at the wheels....the dyno tells all as far as actual hp. But higher hp doesnt always mean better performance.

A 350hp engine from a mustang will be a 350 hp engine in a gokart.....the vehicle doesnt change anything it would be faster due to lighter weight but thats it.

@NuggaStan First entry when you google it! With the ESS Software you get 340 out of 286 stock, as an example. It has 286 stock! Another example is the ptronic box. They claim that they get even more hp out of the 286hp engine (367). Go to ptronic com and choose the 2010 35d engine with 286hp an you'll see...

@NuggaStan Yes I am from Europe... Should be no problem to put the ptronic box for the x6 35d in your x5 35d... The engine is the same... but thats just my opinion. Ask them if you want to buy that box, or look for other suppliers

@NuggaStan That is because you're a knuckle dragger and don't know how to think critically. Try truncating his post and searching for just "x35d 286hp ESS", I had no problem finding it in about 10 seconds. Secondly it is very easy to get get an extra 40-60hp out of diesel. All you do is fine tune the power curve and bump the turbo psi up a few lbs. Like the "bully dog VW TDI module" it bumps the hp on a 2.0 TDI up 30hp and that engine.

286 from what 265-268, maybe but a chip wont jump any vehicle from 265-340. And you are claiming 340 at the rear wheels cmon farmer!

@NuggaStan actually beleive it or not but BMW have limited theyr 30d and 35d way under theyr top because if you put the 35d engine in a 1 series it would have 340bhp and would be the fastest car in the class beating m3's and possibly M5's, also some extra tweaking and you can get 450bhp with an exhaust from the engine :)
