@sanitycrze Liv Kristine was singing in a metal band before the existence of Nightwish in Theater Of Tragedy. It's not a copy, it's really different, maybe also because of the folk side and the death voice in a few songs. And I personnaly find that Anette is a good singer in her way and for her own songs. She's just not Tarja and you have to forget what was Nightwish before to go on.

At Suomentaja: Liv sounds just fine. Her voice is gorgeous but not very powerful; it never has been. That was apparent back in the Theatre of Tragedy days, but the extremely compressed production work on Leaves Eyes' albums make her sound a lot bigger than her voice is capable of being live. Frankly, this is a good mix for her live (I do live sound work, and would be very happy to make it sound this good). Also, don't forget that Alex has a huge voice, which makes her sound weak.
