@Moraud5386 If you listen to smooth jazz often i would definitely pick the Etymotic hf5 because they don't have overpowering bass because they use balanced armature speakers versus the dynamic speakers of the Shure and Bose. The armatures give more balanced and true-to-the-track sound which I would think is preferable for jazz.
