I don't blame DHS and the TSA for their regulations and searches. During the Bush years when wee took an aggressive stance against terrorism with the military and CIA disrupting their activities, airport security was the LAST line of defense.

Now they're the only line of defense. Enhanced pat downs and panicky, paranoid TSA officials is the price we pay for pulling out of Iraq and Afghanistan too quickly, shutting down GITMO and not water boarding high value detainees.
