@keittokirjatepo it's modelled, but it has a big sample library with piano samples and you can import your own samples too and last but not least it has a complete fm-synthesizer built in with 6 operators or so :)
@2245DRUMMER I think they went that extra mile with the size and look because they wanted to make something that felt genuine and solid. I like it. Very classy and nice looking. Guitarists get awesome looking guitars, why should key players be left out in the cold? :)
Wait, why would anyone ask why it's so big? It's a common size for what it is. You'd think every kid playing music now wouldn't know what an electromechanical device is. That is what it is right? If not, then why not just stuff a laptop under that hood with a good VST and a few MIDI'd knobs on the panel. Aw', but yuk you know we want the real thing. I'd play this, depending if it cost less than twice the price of vintage. It certainly doesn't sound twice as good.
Like the Nord Wurlitzer simulations it's a bit weak and compressed sounding. It's O.K., but not a patch on the real thing.

The Rhodes sound is made with physical hammers and mechanics, piano sound is sampled, also the clav is (I think)

How good is the clarinet? I hear a lot of bad sounding clav patches out there, how is this comparatively speaking?

why is it so big? 1. so you can rest a mini moog on top of it. 2. so it will look cool on stage. My choice would be the orange one.

Anyways, it gets a great sound

is it old or just retro looking? sounds just like a wurlitzer... same as a wurlitzer, mechanically? is the synth sound built into it?
