@FashionBabe7 The water has to be room temperature, best way you can do this is use water that has been out for a while or get some warm water and let it sit for a bit to get cool. the brand doesnt really matter, I use hard as nails for mine

@Chocogal011 It will work on short or long nails and it will work on your natural nails. Just make sure you put a base coat and a base color and make sure it's completely dry.

one word. vaseline. Makes for a much easier clean up than tape. a lot more precise as well. I put it on with a qtip before dipping

If you wanna know how to get room tempreture water put some water in a glass then leave it for a night then the next morning it should be room tempreture :D

tip:Make sure water is room temperature.

& also, use new nail varnish's as they tendto be thinner and have less time to thicken:) hope this helped:)

@Tonicha1996 Was your water filtered? That might be your problem. She has some videos of her experimenting with different water temps, and with water quality. It might help if you watch those and then try again!

@MrChocolatecookies1 sometimes the polish doesnt spread bc its to thick. did you do the drop close to the water? my first attempt went right to the bottom of my cup bc i dropped it to high and fast. i aslo found that sally hansen nail polish works best when i do any marbleing

Lol here are some tips 4 u guys on how to do this:

1. You can use any tape

2. You can use any nail polish (EXCEPT FAST DRY NAIL POLISH!!!)

3. When u 1st try it, dont expect to be perfect, it'll take a couple trys to get it the way u like:)

4. the most working nail polish is the sally hanson brand

5. if your nail polish didn't spread dont freak out, just experiment with different polishes:)

6. ROOM TEMP WATER USUALLY WORKS BEST!!

i tried doing something like this with my friend. some nail polish dries too quickly for water marble. Sally Hansen usually works really well. hope this helps!
