Rammstein-Sonne, great vid btw. I got the same kit w/ 2650kv mamba monster/11.1v LiPo. What kind does yours use as electrics??

The motor used is a MambaMonster, but I don't know the kv, as it is from a friend of mine.

I self got the same kit with a Novak HV 6.5 on 2 x 7.4v lipo. It runs faster than any buggy on the circuit, but uses a lot more power, so the runtimes are to short to take part in competitions.

Actually I would recommend 11.1v LiPo's. It could make yours go almost twice as fast as now. The voltage of the batteries determines torqof the motor. I just got my esc-motor combo a couple of hours ago. I installed it and the truck wheelies on the carpet:) AND i didn't charge the batteries yet:) I know the lipo's are crazy expensive but if you get a chance I would recommend it very much

Hi,

The motor used is a MambaMonster.

During the recording of this film, 3 different batteries where used.

4 cell, 5 cell and 6 cell batteries have been tested by us.

The 4 cell battery (we used Maxamps) is found good by us for normal driving.

The 5 cell battery (we used Maxamps) we recommend for competition.

The 6 cell battery with the standard setup is way to fast. The tires get blown up at topspeed and start hitting the body, that way.

However, when working with different pinions, the 6 cell batteries are usable.

Soon we will test with 6 cell Zippy's, as they cost about 1/4th of the price of Maxamps batteries.

By the way, I forgot to mention that we always used LiPo's. :o)
