I think your hub design would lend itself well to the late Alain Lobel's dynamic equilateral triangle designed domes and structures. Go to Lobel Frame on the internet and check out the rich graphics and designs. With your adjustable hub design you will be able to build Alain's structures quite reasonably and economically as you will see.
