I am parisian and I can tell you the accent here is very realistic.

For once, they probably hired a real french (not a canadian) to make the voice.

You're dead wrong about the french and quebecois relations.

I've been to Montreal and I can tell you I loved this city and the french speaking canadians.

Beside that, a lot of french canadian artists have a great carreer in both side of the Atlantic, the accent is absolutly not a problem.

It's just a french canadian accent while pretending it's parisian is as odd as an obvious californian accent and pretend it's a good old british accent of London.
