The buttons are not inverted old arcade machines had them on the left.Even the amiga joystick was the same way,the inverted way started with nes,snes and anyway that nintento stuff

You could have easily hacked the batter pack set for AC with a filtered and regulated power supply and you wouldn't have had to worry about swapping out batteries all the time. I probably will go that route if I think about doing something like this.

I work at a printing company and I print them off there. However you could get the same thing done a kinkos by just having them print and laminate your pieces for you.

You are correct, and I did actually have it set up to run all off AC but the 6v wall wart that I was using to power the game pack randomly died right before finishing up the machine for my son's birthday. So I hastily replaced it back with the 4 AA's it initially required.
