Brings back memories. I played this as a kid, totally oblivious to the fact that it was just a hack and not an actual Mario game. I was just a bit baffled by the feather-hat-stick-dude-Mario etc. :D

I think people known this pirate hack better than the original game itself, since Armadillo was never (officialy) released outside Japan.

Me too, I played this when I was a kid, and the game is hard as hell back to that time. But I always liked it, the boss battle music is great!

This game is a hacked version of Armadillo(read the description),an old game for the Famicom,it isn't real,HOWEVER it was sold on an eBay auction for $149.99,I'm assuming by the creator.THERE really is a Super Mario LAND 4,but I don't know where you'd find one as it was only released in Japan.(man people are stupid)

I suppose you could refer to Wario Land 2 and SML4, but that isn't the official name. The other SML4 out there isn't a real SML4 rom either. It's a hack of another game.
