this is perfect poem in every way and on so many levels. I love how you say the line "life is shit" as our brother said it in the exact way he does talk!!
Its funny, horribly true, showing how kids are, how so many of us have either done the same or wanted to. How this childhood act can lead to thoughts like this, connecting it to life, to realistic reactions,and it ends perfectly...

It's a joke poem. it's supposed to shock, and actually there is some resolution to it. Shit is apart of life something we all do everyday, so why be afraid to talk about it. We can watch guns and people killing each other every night on TV but not this? Don't pass it on if you don't want to, but perhaps some one interested in literature and art might have a different perspective. Cheers!

@adamwyeth dont see whats so offensive!! as you said we do it every day, its necessary and just a way to get rid of the food we have consumed. For me, my shit has changed my life! My shit almost killed me and now i shit differently! Thus my life is different. So yeah, life is shit.Ones shit does reflect ones life!! Anyways, i feel this poem is a play on words too, which, correct me if I am wrong, is a really clever thing in poetry.
