This is buy far the best spot to farm leather... The drop rate for Borean leather and Scraps are pretty even.. abuot 50% for either.. and the Shoveltusk flank sells very well in AH.. I am getting 40g a Stack for it.. I farm these on my DK in tank spec

Icy Touch > Plague Strike > Pestilence > Boil Blood with blood runes, Death Strike with frost/unholy runes. Loot.

You can do it with any class/level so long as you can kill them. They are non-social so you can kill one at a time if you need.

No one said 100 kills was guaranteed, it's random chance - however, statistics dictate that you are LIKELY to get one that often or even more frequently. Additionally, the drop rate has NOT been nerfed, that's a myth.

better spot is in borean tundra, for the borean leather. 10 heavy borean leather in dalaran = an arctic fur. you can still get meat from the rhinos as well as an arctic fur.

How is that three hours wasted? You got 900 leather (about 600 gold) plus probably another 400 shoveltusk flanks (another 600 gold), tons of grays, probably a dozen arctic fur (another 800 gold)...what's the problem with 2,000g+ gold in three hours?

Good question, and it's really quite simple - purely so people can freak out. Even though I have 450,000+ gold, I get enjoyment out of not having epic flight form, just because it makes people mad =D

It's the same reason that when I got gladiator on my druid I did it wearing feral shoulders (while I was resto)... I like to do crazy things and still show that I am good at this game =D My DK currently uses +70 sp and mp5 enchant to shoulders, just to see people's reactions after I dom them =D

Hrmm, depends on your gear a bit. If you have epic flying, then you could always mine Icecrown. If you don't, then you can try to use any of my farming videos. If neither of those work, then depending on what cuts you have you could arbitrage uncut gems and cut them yourself.
