Hanuman is said to be the neuron that travel in us at tremendous speed. When we recite his mantras, we feel relaxed and also get ways to sort out problems.
Praying is good because it makes your belief in the Universe more stronger. Your will gets merged with the supreme power and then everything works your way provided by the result if it is possible. Fear & doubt are the true enemies of man.
