I so love this song!! Such a rockin song with such an interesting sound all mixed together with the unique voice of Robert! The Cure is a band who has truly stood the test of time. Considero que Boris Williams es muy superior a Jason Cooper. Sólo basta escuchar esta canción, Jason lo único que hace es acompañar la música, cosa que cualquier baterista podría hacer. Boris le da creatividad y energía a la batería y eso es lo que valoramos los fans de The Cure.

I am an avid fan of live music and have seen lots of bands live. The cure are fantastic live and also are great value song wise. Remember that this is new material for them. Robert's voice is just like the studio album. He's in tune and he interacts well with the audience. Ive taken people to shows who dont know a lot about the cure and they have said that it was great. Try to see them again and open you mind and give them a chance you wont regreat it!

In fact the main difference between the studio version and the live performance isn't Porl but Simon. His bass part is way more fast and energic in the Live Version than in the Mix 13. But see The Kiss or Disintegration studio versions, they're also way more elegic than the powerful Live Versions.The Mix 13 of SWID is more playful, using more instruments, more sounds... it's just something to explore while listening where this Live Versions is just to get the crowd rockin'... I like both ways.

Why the single doesn't catch this energy is beyond me, but there is no doubt the live version is better. This live version is played in a different key than the single, but more significantly - Porl is allowed to almost dominate the live version (a good thing) - his track is so tame on the single. Oh well!
