for this video I spray painted pvc pipes and created the lightsaber handles out of random plumbing materials. I then used adobe after effects and added the glow to the lightsabers frame by frame. For Lightsaber 2, we're using wooden dowels instead of pvc pipes. They are lighter and allow for quicker moves. But i've never used a force fx lightsaber.

You still have to work on facial expressions, dialogue, and plot progression... I would like to see a greater dose of realism in the work if it's intended to be poignant (hard to say with your odd use of humor in the second part).

I still liked this, however, and especially enjoyed James's recollection at 2:38- best scene in this two-part short.
