  • Dean Martin is better

  • Any idea which song has these words in it? I can't remember!

"See the writing on the wall, that don't bother me at all"

  • @love4ourhumans You sure it ain't "Countin' flowers on the wall, that don't bother me at all playing solitaire til dawn with a deck of 51...." If so, that's "Flowers on the Wall" by The Statler Brothers.

  • my papa <3

  • Great classic!

  • The lyrics remind me of our friend's life.

  • Roger Miller: "[Bobby Darin] was an inspiration to me.... When I wrote 'King of The Road' I was trying to write 'Mack The Knife,' something with that feel and that fingersnap thing." One great classic inspires another great classic.

  • Into The Wild..........

  • @amandie93 bloody quality film !!!

  • @Hammerfoot72..True... This simple, yet well written catchy tune has already proven itself for more than 45 years. Rebecca Black's "Friday" should be gone by....hmmm...the end of next Friday?

  • @gimme2utah1: I was wondering how long it would take before people started spamming my videos with complaints about Rebecca Black...

  • @chekovrules Wonder no more!! j/k

I take it you're familiar with the sudden "popularity" of she who should not be named.

Sorry, It was not my intention to spam... and It wasn't so much a complaint as it was an observation.

It's just the world we live in now... where a 10th grader couldn't give you the first names of the 4 Beatles.

  • @gimme2utah1: Yes, I am familiar with it. I'm sure it wasn't intended as spam (as you can see, I left your comment up), but it is kind of funny how many comments of the sort have been popping up on classic songs.

  • @gimme2utah1 Do you really expect the average high schooler to be an expert on The Beatles? All young people listen to new music mostly. It's just how it is. Also, I knew plenty of 10th graders at my high school who loved the Beatles, and a couple who knew every song.

  • @gimme2utah1 no before next friday so she wont sing it on friday

  • @gimme2utah1 - Who the hell is Rebecca Black?

  • my hubby and sister-in -law LOVE this song wish i had video of them singing it together .. they have known this song for 40yrs!!!

  • @LemurDeCatta that's why i looked it up. heard it in episode 7. ray sounds so hurt: "were you guys singing 'king of the road' without me?"

  • @LemurDeCatta yeah and ray got mad because they sang it while he was asleep

  • How can one not like this?! :D

  • great classical song

  • I'm a brown girl. I grew up in the rural south. Getting dressed for school mornings the car toons had classical and country music accompany the programming in the '60's. That's where I fell in love with country music and this song in particular.

  • My neighbours are obsessed with this song and know all the words of by heart and all, they are only 4and 6.. its so cute :)

  • This song was also used inn the movie teladega nights the ballad of Ricky Bobby it plays in the beginning of the movie

  • @sk8King617

    "Into the Wild"

  • originally it´s not from a movie but it´s been used in Into the Wild :)

  • @jojezaha: Yes, it was the "originally" part that I was trying to point out. Apparently, people missed that point, lol.

  • Brings back memories. My brother had a wind up wooden model truck that played this song. My mom always turned it on at bedtime. Now I have a friend that does this song at our favorite karaoke bar, it's great to sing along to.

  • I remember my mum playing this continuously on the old record player, I was about three :)

  • Such a classic. Loved this song since i was about 5 and I am 23. One of the few new generation that truly admires older music for what it actually is. Also, bangor, Maine! Home...

  • thanks for posting.. great music stands alone.... lasts forever... crappy music only stays for a brief time and is then forgotton..

  • @Hammerfoot72

Thanks for the comment :) I agree, old country was great music.

  • just like justin beibr's crap!

  • @Hammerfoot72 the"brief time" is taking too damn long

  • If you like the old 50`s songs then you will probably like the old 60`s and 70`s too as most of them were written by songwriters who sang them and not factory produced.

  • im 14 and basicly all me and mates like stuff like this its a happy song :D

  • Comment removed

  • I agree! And I'm 22!
