However, if you listen, you'll hear that there was a discussion of an association Obama had or has that concerned Bachmann that Obama may have anti-American views. She never said that she believed he does. She said she was absolutely concerned he may have them. Again, in no way a Bachmann supporter. I do feel that the media played "gotcha" on this. I don't care what dirt anyone brings up about Michele; as long as she is trying to get the Obama administration under investigation, I could care less about anything else you have to say about her.
I am after the truth. If the Obama administration is investigated and turns out innocent, there is no harm done; but if we don't investigate and they aren't innocent, we are screwed!

For myself I would like the GOP to shed the crazies and return to some semblance of the pre-Nixon era. Ike was an autocrat, but he was working with the perceived threats of his time.
I have stated in other posts that M.B. has a few concepts correct, but she is far too eccentric - crazy eccentric - to unpack those concepts from her driving primal fears. There is a air of Blood Cult about her.

I would like to restore the republican party to what they originally stood for. However, if some alleged crazy congresswoman is one of the very few who are trying to stop a much dangerous scenario from taking place, I'm not going to throw rocks at her.
She is one of the few people in congress that are on the side of the American people; why stop her?

I believe Bachmann can only move on this by consolidating and reinforcing her total disregard and contempt for other groups. She is motivated by strong tribal forces on too many issues. She lucked out being born in a Christian-centric country but she has escaped being enamored of the key Christian precept, she chooses who & what are worthy, by abeyance.

2 - I know an equal mix of libs & cons. Most all run their own business & don't want Big Gov (I'm neither)
3 - The world's ills are located in tribalism
4 - With Dems you get 'peacetime' subversion of sorts
5 - With GOP you get New Sparta.
6 - Lots of people support 5 because human nature is tribal-biased
7 - throw out both parties & reboot

Please do not associate Ron Paul and Michelle Bachman. Going against the grain with a dissenting voice is not the same as spewing out the scare tactics and intellectually-devoid comments that this woman uses. Name calling is not an argument. Ron Paul speaks with almost 30 years experience of being that dissenting (or rational) voice. Instead of mccarthy-like accusations lets have a real conversation about the role of government and in particular- the Federal Reserve system.
