An amazing voice and a very sexy woman. I met her in 2006 at Soupy Sales 80th birthday in New York. Quite a night especially as I got to drive her home to her apartment and be tempted to join her for a nightcap but was late for another event. It was a great night honey, sorry to hear of your passing but wherever you go there is sure to be music and love. Michael Gwynne

This is amazing! She lived in the same building in Chicago as my grandparents did in the early 40's . My mother, who died in 2006 always spoke of her. A few years ago when I was in NY, I looked her up, and she came downstairs from her apt. to greet me and my daughter. I dialed up my mother on my cell phone and they spoke briefly. My mother was thrilled. She looked elegant, tho she had recently had surgery. I guess she is still making music!

She looks nothing like she looked in her M-G-M musicals--then she was robust and zaftig, now she is sleek and New York sophisticated-- but she still sounds divine,  youthful and the total artist. Bless this lovely spirit.

What a wonderful, lovely talent. I have her Tin Pan Alley album, and it is perfect. How I wish there were more albums and films featuring Kay. This is a brilliant performance.
