Not to criticize this movie since I love it so much but I can't help but feel that Madison wearing Allen's clothes symbolizes her conformity to the masculine world of female nymphomania and muteness; the male fantasy. To play devil's advocate, she is wearing his clothes because Victoria, Allen's ex, had previously moved out of his apartment taking implicitly all of her clothes, hence the lack of feminine clothes available, and that she can't walk out naked again!
