Nå må ikke folk glemme at ingen i Norge viste om holocuast før etter krigen. Og nazismens styresett er forsovidt bedre enn kommunisme. Tyskland ble jo en velferdstat etter at nazistene kom til makten.

Du har helt rett. Mine besteforeldre på min fars side hater tyskerne for invasjonen av Norge, men når jeg graver litt i det de mener, så hadde de det jo alt i alt meget bra med tankte på verdensituasjonen. Det var 5 år med krig, tyskerne kunne ikke bare trylle frem smør og honning til alle nordmenn.

Ok, he made a mistake by supporting the nazis (he read Nietzsche too much) but he is still one of my favourite writers, and Sult probably my favourite novel.

The first real modern author! I read many of his novels over and over again. Were I live almost everyone knows some of his family. They're all very nice people. Mostly artists in one way or the other. "Victoria" is the most romantic (serious) novel ever wrote, in my opinion!
