Scanning 110 and 119 with the CNX Line of FTA Receivers : CNX Scanning Guide

Can you help me out. I recently bought Sonicview 360 elite pvr. I got LNB 110 and 119 on my satellite dish. I'm pretty sure i connected everything correctly. But when I turn my television on theres no signal. I don't see the menu screen can you help me out?

Do I still need my satelite dish mounted on the roof and pointing on E110/E119 when using a dongle hub that is connected to the internet? I thought the receiver is connected to the internet so you are getting channel from the enternet and not from the sat. dish. Please explain, if I still need to connect my sat. dish when using dongle ihub?

k i use to do this with the viewsat ultra like 2yrs ago without the internet con, do i still need my dish 500 and is this working for anybody else?? I saw the ppv preview channel but thats always on, thanks

I really got to give you props because you really seem to know your stuff. btw how can I tell which satelite I have. I just bought a cnx mini fta receiver so If i use that to scan for channels using my existing fta dish, will I be able to get cable channels? thanks.

I need help configuring settings for my lnb type.

Its a DP Plus digital LNBF and im using a Emp-Centauri diseqc switch to connect 119 and 110. I have also a Dish 500 plus satellite.
