  • Thanks for your support against nasty wastes of Cytoplasm that ooze out from the sewers from time to time.

  • Your snakes are beautiful and I am happy to say as I see you take fantastic care of your collection if I so may call them.

  • you sick son of a she snake what the fuck u doing posting these kinda of vedoes, r u out of your mind what u gonna get this from

  • @ALANLEEY Eat Shit & Die Asshole!

  • @viperkeeper Well said.

  • @ALANLEEY What exactly is your problem with the video? You're practically incoherent and certainly illiterate. Al takes excellent care of the animals in his charge. The prey items are pre-killed so they don't suffer unduly.

Do you just not like snakes or are you just another troll?

  • @ALANLEEY Learn to write in an appropiate manner before insulting somebody. Al is one of the most respected, most responsible and one of the best people I am fortunate enough to communicate with. If you can't handle snakes eating rodents, DON'T watch Al's videos. The rodents are humanely killed prior to feeding the snakes.

  • @ALANLEEY There are alot of people who support what this man dose get some info before talking trash next time. There are hundreds of videos of people mutilating snakes and this man is trying to teach people about them.

  • @ALANLEEY

I gotta go on and say the same as viperkeeper...and by the way, your spelling SUCKS

  • @ALANLEEY

wow, yeah...I have to agree with viperkeeper there, stupid fuck

  • these videos actually entertain me :D

  • oh my god *_* I want it!!! It's fantastic *_*

  • Wow your snakes all look very healthy. You take great care of them :) i want to be a Herpetologist.

  • Viperkeeper youre great !!!!!!!!!!!

    Respect.

When you a animal of Naja pallida have to sold, mail me

  • do you plan on getting a new one

  • wow that not cool i like this snake

  • oh no he died :( what a nice snake.... thats a shame

  • these are beautiful snakes but i would probably never dare to get one i would surely die of poisoning :D

  • XD same take out their venom gland so they can never have venom even though if i take it out and i get bitten i will freak out O_O

  • @flamexxic That's nasty....I work with them as they are

  • @flamexxic There are reports of snakes getting there venom glands taken out and growing them back. Taking out the Venom glands can also cause the snake to get infections and even die. Every venomous snake should be treated as such and left alone unless you know what your doing.

  • nice, how much would i be looking to spend on one of thes

  • Of course in the wild being easily distracted is an advantage like if a preditor was comming the cobra could prepair itself.

  • Do u still have this snake?

  • He was found dead this month :-(

  • Very sorry to hear that, you must be devestated.

Do you know what the cause of death was?

  • Vet thinks it could have been food poisoning...

  • @viperkeeper you should try and get a yellow bellied sea snake there beautiful and i reckon it would be your most venomous one

  • @viperkeeper Thats really sad :/ food poisoning from rodents? where do you buy your food?

  • Im sorry you lost your red spitter. He was very beautiful.

  • @viperkeeper oh crap man so sorry to hear that little red was so cute (even though venomous) may he R.I.P

  • That's nice :)

  • Is it legal to keep cobras there where you are from? In my country it's illegal to keep those beautiful creaturet :'(

  • yes, it's legal in some States of the USA but not all.

  • Is there any way you can show us a vid. on just your cobras? I haven't seen baby o hannah or little red in awhile. -thanks

  • I don't keep many cobras..but I'm actually putting together a video with Red and Raj (N. naja)

  • You don't really have to worry about the death adder running away if the cage is open do you?? i didn't think they moved much at all unless you put a boot on them...

    --Dave

  • Spider and Octoberfest, Funny. (Ha, I am Bavarian. That would be funny, to see in Munich spiders dancing on the tables in the big beer tents.)

This Red Cobra. Really amazing jump forward tackling the mouse. Huh ! - And then so relaxing at dinner table, even with the back to you, which shows that this snake has a lot of confidence in you. Wonderful. Thank's Viperkeeper !

  • wow, i wanna be like u when i grow up, keeping snakes and making videos about them. :] well no EXACTLY

  • Does Little Red ever miss a meal

  • The only time he does not eat is when he is in shed.

  • Only when he is in shed.

  • Sweet!! You must really be fond of this snake because you sound like you love it!!

  • Yeah..he's a sweetie except when food is around. I do like him a lot!

  • The Taipan was brought in for a Zoo I would with, so she is going to be on exhibit there.

  • Pet stores are about 5x the price you can get at a reptile show.

  • Hey guys i have a baby Lampropeltis Californiae and he didnt eat anything for 2 weeks. Can any1 tell me wtf is going on with him?

  • Well, normally this time of year they are not very active. Maybe he need to be kept warmer and make sure it has water to drink.

  • How do you clean the cages?

  • The snake gets removed to a holding bin. The cage substrate is removed and the surfaces cleaned & disinfected. Fresh substrate is added and then the snake.

  • great video, can you please make one with your indian cobra as i havent seen it involved in any videos yet(my appologies if it already stars in a video)

  • The Naja naja is too small and "runny" to do much with at the moment. Maybe when he gets older and not try to flee all the time.

  • i will be looking forward to seeing it then when its bigger lol, in your opinion what is the easiest elapid to work with?

  • Death Adders, because they act like Vipers, not Elapids.

  • my girlfriend no longer likes you for that spider lol keep it up lol

  • i am a fan of ur work dude i wish i could own venomous snakes but here in cali the law is "no non native venomous snakes" dam arnold hahah but dude i love ut work and i watch all ur new vids all the time

  • AL, if you dont mind me asking have you ever been envenomated by any of your snakes? If so which specie's and how severe?

  • i have a snake named red

  • VK ive kept snakes from as long as i can remember , including removein european adders from the locality and a very narly rat snake, which spent 6 yrs trying to tag me, never did lol

Im considering a copperhead as a first and have a snake lined up - any advice?

  • having seen many of your videos on here, they've intrigued me, so much so that i'm thinking about perhaps getting a small snake to start off with etc... is there any tips that you could pass over that could make this decision easier?

  • Corn Snakes make very good "pets" and come in all sorts of designer colors. They are very gentle snakes that art easy to take care of and have a broad range of environmental tolerance. Best to get them from a local herp show than a pet store where they will be 5x the price.

    Al

  • thanks for the answer VK, do you carry AV for all of them?

  • Some have no specific A/v available. I stock A/V for some of my snakes but not all.

  • how do them cobras cope in the wild loL?

  • Did you hear about the guy that picked up a death adder in western nsw (australia) thinking it was a lizard, it bit him five times... he's had 4 doses of AV and he's going to be fine... crazy though!!

  • Yes, He also had a Heart Attack. 5 Vials is a lot of A/V! Normally takes 1-2

  • How many snakes do you have and how many different species?

    thanks!

  • 14 Genus 35 species I think....
