@ALANLEEY What exactly is your problem with the video? You're practically incoherent and certainly illiterate. Al takes excellent care of the animals in his charge. The prey items are pre-killed so they don't suffer unduly.
Do you just not like snakes or are you just another troll?
@ALANLEEY Learn to write in an appropiate manner before insulting somebody. Al is one of the most respected, most responsible and one of the best people I am fortunate enough to communicate with. If you can't handle snakes eating rodents, DON'T watch Al's videos. The rodents are humanely killed prior to feeding the snakes.
@ALANLEEY There are alot of people who support what this man dose get some info before talking trash next time. There are hundreds of videos of people mutilating snakes and this man is trying to teach people about them.
@flamexxic There are reports of snakes getting there venom glands taken out and growing them back. Taking out the Venom glands can also cause the snake to get infections and even die. Every venomous snake should be treated as such and left alone unless you know what your doing.
You don't really have to worry about the death adder running away if the cage is open do you?? i didn't think they moved much at all unless you put a boot on them...
Spider and Octoberfest, Funny. (Ha, I am Bavarian. That would be funny, to see in Munich spiders dancing on the tables in the big beer tents.)
This Red Cobra. Really amazing jump forward tackling the mouse. Huh ! - And then so relaxing at dinner table, even with the back to you, which shows that this snake has a lot of confidence in you. Wonderful. Thank's Viperkeeper !
The snake gets removed to a holding bin. The cage substrate is removed and the surfaces cleaned & disinfected. Fresh substrate is added and then the snake.
great video, can you please make one with your indian cobra as i havent seen it involved in any videos yet(my appologies if it already stars in a video)
i am a fan of ur work dude i wish i could own venomous snakes but here in cali the law is "no non native venomous snakes" dam arnold hahah but dude i love ut work and i watch all ur new vids all the time
VK ive kept snakes from as long as i can remember , including removein european adders from the locality and a very narly rat snake, which spent 6 yrs trying to tag me, never did lol
Im considering a copperhead as a first and have a snake lined up - any advice?
having seen many of your videos on here, they've intrigued me, so much so that i'm thinking about perhaps getting a small snake to start off with etc... is there any tips that you could pass over that could make this decision easier?
Corn Snakes make very good "pets" and come in all sorts of designer colors. They are very gentle snakes that art easy to take care of and have a broad range of environmental tolerance. Best to get them from a local herp show than a pet store where they will be 5x the price.
Did you hear about the guy that picked up a death adder in western nsw (australia) thinking it was a lizard, it bit him five times... he's had 4 doses of AV and he's going to be fine... crazy though!!
Thanks for your support against nasty wastes of Cytoplasm that ooze out from the sewers from time to time.

ballpython32 3 years ago
Of course in the wild being easily distracted is an advantage like if a preditor was comming the cobra could prepair itself.

viperkeeper 3 years ago
Very sorry to hear that, you must be devestated.

The Naja naja is too small and "runny" to do much with at the moment. Maybe when he gets older and not try to flee all the time.
viperkeeper 5 years ago
i will be looking forward to seeing it then when its bigger lol, in your opinion what is the easiest elapid to work with?
jaydizzle222 5 years ago
Death Adders, because they act like Vipers, not Elapids.
