Trailer ends with the quick montage of few scary shots (for example, the wave of red water flooding the room) with sound of siren throughout. Can anyone help me locate this awesome, intense trailer? This game is so awesome. It scares me shitless. Most games you play, it scary, but the second time around it's not scary around. Not with Siren. Siren it's scary EVERY time you play it. I played this with one of my bravest friends and she even screamed! I think it's really unique and very fun. I LOVE it! ^w^

for those who dont, which most of you dont. the original Silent Hill Team, that made Silent Hill 1, 2, 3, and 4, made this game after they disbanded from Silent Hill. the storyline of SH is much more complex in my opinion, but the storyline of Siren is also enthralling. The whole religious aspects are intriguing. Silent hill will forever be a part of me, but Siren is a great advancement from the SH series. and...Siren is WAY harder than silent hill
@lulilu99 I think Siren has a personality on its own, a survival horror + stealth mix it's kinda unseen. And Silent Hill resemblances are inevitable, for Keiichiro Toyama (Silent Hill 1999 game director) lead the project— adding this time japanese cultural references.
An example of that is Hisako, who makes hint for Yaobikuno's legend: a girl punished to live forever after eating a god's flesh.

I (tried to) play a demo of forbidden siren on the ps2 way back when. I came into the corridor of the school and rang the alarm....it all went downhill from there. I've was too scared to play it again...but then, I am a girl!
I did manage to get through Silent Hill 4 (...demo, lol!) so I'm getting there :)

You don't need to understand games like Siren. The main idea is to keep yourself alive because everyone (i meant, everything) else is going to kill you. While Silent Hill is a melancholic game, the game revolves around the storyline and makes you wanna beg for a sequal .
Japanese people are the only ones capable of actually making games that are scary. Im not trying to be racist against other people but I noticed this.

Now I am interested in Amnesia but I don't think my computer would work very well with it. I like other horror games too but it's only because I think they are fun. I don't think they are scary.
@alexllorrac I see you're point. Most good scary games are Japanese after all. Most good Western horror games are for the PC anyway. However, Eternal Darkness and the Suffering are damn good western horror games for the consoles.

The zombies are called Shibito. It's actually quite fun to play, but way toooooooo difficult for me, lol. You play as 10 different characters; from child to teen to adult to elder, each with their own weaknesses and abilities. This game is based on stealth, so it required alot of patient and strategy to succeed. About the story, honestly, i still have know idea what was it about :P

Well I think Silent Hill was Originally named "Siren Hill" But I believe due to some law rights or something, they changed it to silent hill x.x Not sure why just the heads up, kinda cool how both games have siren and yeah no need to compare them : ) they both look great
Sorry chspooky but I disagree. The stealth element is far from perfectly implemented, combat more so.
However what sets this apart from other survival horror is you have to use stealth to succeed, with other elements like sight-jacking. Essentially you stalk & enemy that is stalking you. I'm playing Siren again now after giving up due to the difficulty. Not for the casual or faint hearted but if you're up for it; a rewarding, atmospheric & highly absorbing experience that's underrated for sure !
I was very esceptical about this game when i started to play it but now that i finally beat it i've gotta say that this one it's a truly Survival Horror game, no healing items, most of all characters don't have a weapon to fight back and you have to hide to avoid the confrontations most of times. Forbidden Siren undoubtly it's one of the top hardest games that i have played in my entire videogamer life.
IDK .. when i played the demo i decied the game was stupid and had haevy lacking problomes .... but i heard 2 is waaaaay better and way creeper. as for it being a copy of Sh ... well i agree with omegaowa and the other dude
Yeah now i realize that, that thing of the sightjack it's quite difficult and some characters don't even have a weapon to defend themselves but even so i like the storyline I guess i will only keep playing it to know what is the plot
XD I haven't reached that one yet, I'm still in the one of a girl arriving to an abandoned house but I hated the two missions of the unarmed father that ones were quite frustraiting

Yeah, go to agree here. And it isn't a ripoff. The designers of this game ARE the designers of Silent Hill. So of course there are going to be similarities. But while I LOVE Silent Hill, this game has it BEAT when it comes to creepiness and suspense. Not to mention difficulty :/

Anyway Amnesia is not a game I was ever able to play because it's for the computer and my computer isn't good for games so I missed out there.

The zombies are called Shibito. It's actually quite fun to play, but way toooooooo difficult for me, lol. You play as 10 different characters; from child to teen to adult to elder, each with their own weaknesses and abilities. This game is based on stealth, so it required alot of patient and strategy to succeed. About the story, honestly, i still have know idea what was it about :P

so you mean that this game is un-understandable? i mean i saw sielent hill walkthrough although they don't make any sence about the monsters but still the hero himself still have his onw story wich is so much simpler to be understanded this game looks a horror game but it's un-understandable i mean why are they fighting -escaping -stealthing...... etc i mean even project zero can make some sence specially projec zero 2 crimson butterfly wich is my favorit and as well resident evil 4 and 5 ..

i guess that to understand this game i need to see it's full walkthrough and cut scenes as well ..... to be honest silent hill i can't get it's story niether as well i can't get tenchu's story as well specially ayame's full story i didn't get it by playing fatal shadows at all ....... guess i need some older vertions to understand more the stories for these kinds of games well i'll try to get this one but if i couldn't i'll just watch the walkthrough

at fatal frame they show you all the story through the gameplay i understanded some of the story but not all of it and about silent hill i guess it'll never be undertnd able cuz every time they just focus on the main character's story and not at silent hill itself until now the worst walkthrough for silent hilli saw was shattered memories it was too sad no good endings at all i didn't play silent hill before but as i know i hate games with multi endings 1 ending is more than enough

Well I think Silent Hill was Originally named "Siren Hill" But I believe due to some law rights or something, they changed it to silent hill x.x Not sure why just the heads up, kinda cool how both games have siren and yeah no need to compare them : ) they both look great

Sorry chspooky but I disagree. The stealth element is far from perfectly implemented, combat more so.
However what sets this apart from other survival horror is you have to use stealth to succeed, with other elements like sight-jacking. Essentially you stalk & enemy that is stalking you. I'm playing Siren again now after giving up due to the difficulty. Not for the casual or faint hearted but if you're up for it; a rewarding, atmospheric & highly absorbing experience that's underrated for sure !

Well after Team Silent was disbanded by most of team members went on to create Siren. That might have something to do with it.

I was very esceptical about this game when i started to play it but now that i finally beat it i've gotta say that this one it's a truly Survival Horror game, no healing items, most of all characters don't have a weapon to fight back and you have to hide to avoid the confrontations most of times. Forbidden Siren undoubtly it's one of the top hardest games that i have played in my entire videogamer life.

Yeah now i realize that, that thing of the sightjack it's quite difficult and some characters don't even have a weapon to defend themselves but even so i like the storyline I guess i will only keep playing it to know what is the plot

@elktaro well thats ur opinion =) but to be honest, I like SH4, ive never played any other sh game since then, but sh 1-4 are pretty good imo. Yes its different, but that doesnt necessarily mean that it sucks.
but yeah, ive heard that multiple times, that sh after sh3 (or at least sh4) was going downhill, especially homecoming.

Yeah, go to agree here. And it isn't a ripoff. The designers of this game ARE the designers of Silent Hill. So of course there are going to be similarities. But while I LOVE Silent Hill, this game has it BEAT when it comes to creepiness and suspense. Not to mention difficulty :/
