The way I interpret it, this song is happening to me at this point in time. My girlfriend and I have been going out for a year, we've been doing wonderful, she goes to school in another state, we talked every day, we cared about each other, we laughed, everything was great. She came home this summer, and I could tell something was starting to change. All of a sudden, out of nowhere she blocked me from all contact, and I've been being dragged along for a couple of days.
