At 1:26 Dr. west sites "Hip Hop culture" as an African expression in "the modern world" (which I can agree). However to regard Hip Hop culture as a tool by which African people have or can navigate a successful future which had been lost due to the disintegration of Black Family within the America. I don't think so. How does Hip Hop culture promote family? When? I like Hip Hop. It has it's place in entertainment. But too much more than that. "Hip Hop" has no family value systems.

These intelligent articulate Negroes talk, pontificate and debate but do nothing to organize the masses of Blacks. White wife having Negroes like Cornell who receive their living from whites will never seek to disturb the white supremist apple cart. Big up to Professor Clarke.

Most do not post responses because they are scared of the reality that they cannot walk through life saying I did not know. With knowledge comes responsibility, and for most that responsibility is to great for them to take. So they see but dare not hear, Hear but dare not understand, Understand but dare not take action!

That's deep.. some of us were raised in the knowledge of ourselves and our ancestors, and thus don't understand the dynamic of those who are just learning.

How do they get over that hurdle?
