Just a tip... If you have a car with a sway bar.. and its driven a lot of miles... DO NOT try to remove the sway bar links... they are way too rusty (and an allen key is just going to strip the inside).. Instead, remove the sway bar bushing bolts that are located on the actual bar (there is 2 on each side). This will let the sway bar move down and let the control arm move down with it.
I got the 4 springs now.. But quick question.. Do the big wide springs go in the back or the front? Or does the little tinnier springs go on the back.?
@jgpwlcs36 That shot down because they took the bolts off from the top... Not because of of the spring.
And if you mean removing the spring from the strut mount, yes.. normally you would need a spring compressor, except these springs are not compressed that much anyways.. and if you have air guns.. it is quite easy.
do you need to mark or align d top and bottom clamps so theyll be in the same position? or this doesnt matter, saw d guy who installed mine didn't do it and upon reinstall he had to twist the top to get it in, he said its ok, is it?
Im curious, when you compress the spring after installing the new one, how far do you screw the bolt on, does the threading stop at a certain position or are you just guesstimating?
I have a question. I have an 06 WRX i wanted to install COBB's Stage 2 suspension kit which has springs, front and rear sway bars. They told me it would be a $700-800 job. is that correct? I mean after seeing your video it doesn' t seem like it takes that long for springs. For sway bars I don't know but this person's main concern was with springs which he said it was a real pain being strut mounted.
@ 4:35. how do u know when to stop tightening?

Oh ok I will get some then, do u know of any good shocks to go with my new MaxSpeed springs for a 2001 Honda accord LX 4cyl.. ?
iKnifeU123 10 months ago
I bought maxspeed springs to lower my car 1.5" but do I also need to get the shocks and strunts.? Or is that not necessary.? Please help.

@iKnifeU123
any time you lower a car you should get after market shocks because stock ones will eventually give.
