  • I do better with lower fat (notice I said lower, not NO fat - you need fat!). I've done both and I can lose both ways. I lose faster when I watch my fats (mainly watching cheese intake and nut intake) because if I don't watch them, I tend to overeat them! I think it's a matter of personal preference and how you feel when doing it!

  • How does low fat/low carb compare to high fat/low carb? Have you tried both? I feel better with high fat. I don't gain, but I do worry... :)

  • @QueenSemiramis Some fat in your diet is ideal. But make sure you're not getting to much. There's a calculator somewhere on the internet I'm sure where you can calculate how many grams of fat you need according to your body weight.

    Just noticed you posted that 2 years ago haha.

  • how many carbs do you eat a day? what is the recommended target?

  • Now I usually don't count carbs (although I do try not to eat too many), but when I was trying to lose weight I stayed under 20g carbs per day (usually more like 15).

  • I got mine at Rite Aid. Drugstores or GNC stores usually have it. Online too! Just because something is low carb does not mean you can eat as many as you want! Anything in excess will make you gain weight if you eat enough of them so I try not to overeat stuff (even if it's low carb).

  • You look good. Where do you get that protein powder? Why are you so worried about eating so many of those if they are low in carbs and sugar free?
