  • 6:16, I see what you did there

  • Just wanting to cover Deathspell Omega is impressive.

    Congratulations man.

  • @HedoNNN Thank you very much!

  • fuck

  • what a great song to the a drum cover. Very skilled man. Learning the song in itself is difficult.

  • @panzerfaust375 Thanks a lot, man!

  • @Infernalord

You should do more deathspell covers. I haven't really heard this album yet but I'm loving this song. Prob cause of this vid. I'm a big si movmentum fan if you want cover one of those songs :)

  • @panzerfaust375 I've been thinking about it, and I've also had some requests so when I have time I will learn another song and do a cover. Keep tuned! Regards

  • Try to cover Jubilate Deo please ! :D

  • @HedoNNN I'll think about it... Remind me of that in a few days ;)

  • This is amazing! Who needs a drum machine?

  • @HoscoFelix Thank you!

  • You practised your paradiddles when you teacher told you to didn't you :P. This is wicked dude.

  • @TheWisestOwl Lol funny comment, thank you :)

  • @RinoMetal Lol thanks, actually there's 5 of them so far, hahaha!

  • whats the name of the intro song?

    great cover man

  • @TheVirus666888 Thank you very much! The Intro song is called Wings Of Predation, it's the song that comes right before Abscission on the album Paracletus.

  • VERY AWESOME! Do you think that you can cover Apokatastasis Pantôn?

  • @jerrets Thank you! Yes I can try to cover that song. :)

  • This is awesome. Does anyone know if Deathspell Omega has an actual drummer? I can't tell and there is no current member listed.

  • @BuzzmFrog Thank you very much!

I don't know about that, but it's not a drum machine, so they have someone to record the albums...

  • i never thought that any human could play this (talking about Deathspell Omega in general)... even believed it was a drum machine... congratulations bro... what do you think about playing "The Repellent Scars of Abandon and Election" ????

  • @edeercordova It's possible, lol They have always had a human drummer so it's possible. Thanks a lot, man! I don't think I will try to cover anything from "Fas..." in the near future, it's very complex and I need to improve my skills. But I definitely will do another cover from Deathspell Omega. Right now I am waiting for my last show and after that I will be able to assemble my drums in my rehearsal room and start studying another song.

  • @edeercordova yo chek out my cover

  • a bit close to nailing it ...well done,,,do you know the drummer of DSO the man is the iron spine of the dragon

  • @icketypickety Thank you for commenting...

  • You look so relaxed while playing such an intense song.

  • @AlyxCouch Once you practise something a lot, you get more comfortable with it, maybe that's the reason why I look relaxed. I had to play this song quite a few times to get it right. Thanks for commenting!

  • @AlyxCouch yo chek out my cover

  • Amazing! I've been listening to Paracletus for about a year now, and your work is great! You could definitely be part of a DsO "tribute" concert xD

  • @Niflrog Thank you very much! Paracletus sure is a true masterpiece!

  • HOLY FUCK!! You are amazing at this! It's not 100% but that's nothing to worry about. You fucking got it! Seriously, keep it up. You'll nail Shrine of Mad Laughter someday. Shouldn't be a problem.

  • @FenFen55Box Thanks a lot! When I have time I will try to cover another DsO song.

  • Try covering Devouring Famine or (but I think it's unplayable) The Shrine of Mad Laughter, but I really doubt the latest is playable, I'd give you infinite props for trying !

  • I could try Devouring... even though it's rather complicated, but The Shrine of Mad Laughter is absurdely complex, if we're talking about drum patterns... Right now, I guess they're too complex for my skills to achieve a decent cover.

    Thanks a lot!

  • good job man, i was thinking of doing a cover of this one myself! great song!

  • @Arcturus886 Thank you, a lot. I am thinking about making another cover of another song...

  • Deathspell Omega covers are conspicuously absent from Youtube, so anyone who even dares to attempt one gets marks for bravery.

  • @Barqu3ntine Thank you, I agree with you, but only if the cover is well performed.

  • Absolutely amazing, horns up to you man \m/. I've been waiting for some otherworldly being to cover this ungodly track and be able to actually view and aesthetically appreciate the voraciousness of the drumming, great job!

  • @bloodjunkiepr18 The drumming sure is voracious! Thanks a lot man, I appreciate it!

  • @Infernalord This cover is disgusting, in a good way, presentation is nice too, audio quality as well 85\100

  • @chepe371 Thanks!

  • Nice one! Good to see you attempting to play this. I know virtually nothing about learning drum parts by ear, but for what it's worth, this sounded pretty damn good to me. Can you play any of the tracks from 'Fas...'? I'd like to see someone tackle 'Bread of Bitterness' or 'The Repellent Scars...'. That would be great. Even something from SMR,C would be good to see. I'm sure someone will get round to that eventually.

  • @GoldenRatio2 Thanks a lot man, I still haven't forgotten about you covering stuff from Chaining the Katechon :) The stuff from "Fas..." are rather chaotic, and I must say that I am more interested on trying to cover "Chaining...". SMR,C is easier to play, any specific track you would like to see covered?

  • @Infernalord: My guitar is unplayable at the moment but when I get it sorted out I'm going to set it up in D standard tuning and learn some more of the riffs from Kénôse and 'Chaining...'. As for SMR,C, I'm really not sure. Drumming wise, my favourite track is 'Third Prayer' but I don't think it would make the best cover for a number of reasons. I suppose choosing either 'Sola Fide I' or II or 'Blessed...' would be the best place to start. Give one of them a go.

  • Awesome, you should try to cover Wings of predation, it would be nice.

  • @Opeth4Live Thank you! I am thinking about covering another song from this album, not Wings of Predation, but if I have free time, I will try to learn it and make a cover. But I have the ambition of covering Chaining The Katechon.

  • @Infernalord Hah, good luck with 11.04

  • @Wolfsherz Actually, 11:04 is not the worst part and is rather interesting to play... 6:45 is somewhat challenging, but I think that the part which will be the hardest to memorize will be at 7:37.

  • perfect!!!

  • @homines Thanks!!

  • Excellent bro! Salve DSO! 616 Cheers from Chile!

  • @mthenouxe Thank you, cheers!

  • tás a dar-lhe! :P

  • @LocusH Faz-se o que se pode! ;)

  • Excellent control. Brilliant track.

  • @treeofhatred Thank you! I agree with your opinion about the track as well.
