i took 50 mg of my ritalin at a rave last night. I did feel a kidney pain, but also tense muscles. Hell, why am i posting this? Oh yeah, because there is no chance that someone who actually should be taking ritalin would have such a negative reaction with their medication. Also, 50 mg of ritalin barely did anything to me since I take the maximum dosage of concerta for school (not abused at all. Its 72 mg extended release) 72 mg of concerta sucks though, because i lose my apetite and stuff.
@kopjesenseo Ritalin is not an amphetamine. It's Methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta). Amphetamine (Adderall, Dexedrine, Vyvanse). Two totally different drugs, but both do work on the CNS & have high abuse potential.
@Archedgar mayby there is, but there are also legitimated reasons why it isn't approved by the EU commission for the treatment of adults. For some people it is horrible either we are talking about kids or adults. But I agree about the video. Truth got many faces and not just one:D
@MrLockedinabox He wasn't accepting his addiction is all I was told. I think they don't know how to treat addiction and they think tough love is the way, but now doctors are calling this a brain disease. If your brain is sick or damaged you don't act normal. I hope you never have this happen to your family.
My 22 yr old son died from his addiction to his ADD medication Ritalin. He was prescribed this drug at age 12. No doctors warned us or told us to be aware of how addictive this drug is. Dr Yong Kim has done a study that leads him to believe Ritalin may be worse than Cocaine for it's addictive nature on the brain. My son Sean asked me why did God give me this curse? Why did you give me this drug? I tried to explain. Sean went to treatment at Memorial Herman in Houston. He was kicked out and died

be very carefull with ritalin its an amphetamin and can be very dangerous when not use correct.
even when you use it the way your doctor says..even then ..ritalin pills are not smarties.
you can die on heart atack, a stroke,liver failure..
