Does anyone know what the button on the front do? Not the lens release but the other one

the lever like thing in the front is a Time delay. You pull it down then you hit the shutter button it will begin to wind down and when its done unwinding it will then take the shot.

cool tips! do you know you can control this camera with an infrared remote? I know..you're saying "no, this cameras as no IR receiver". but.. Hey Robert. That was my rather sloppy attempt at a shotgun. Where you zoom out while moving the camera closer.
