I used to have a Rotty that grinned like that when he was happy. Or after treats... To all the people who think this is fake. No, dogs really can learn that humans show 'happy' or 'pleased' by showing their front teeth and they are perfectly capable of using it in full context. Although, with a large Rottweiler you do have to kinda explain to any one he grins at that he's being cute for whatever they are eating or after attention, he's not being scary.
