Although I don't like our recent entries, this is absolutely one of our best. Very underrated if you ask me, probably the best song from 1990! How this managed to get only a 15th place is beyond me. The melody has something haunting, and the lyrics are just as beautiful. The performance is stylish and classic, and the leadsinger sings the song very convincingly. Anyway, it should have done much better. Such a shame Europe didn't recognize the quality of this song, which is still awesome in 2011!

Helaas verliep de uitvoering op het moment-suprême niet geheel vlekkeloos. De karakteristieke bachtrompet, die in het nummer zat, was door blunderende techniek op het moment dat die werd bespeeld niet te horen. De oorzaak was de microfoon, die niet open stond. Maywood eindigde uiteindelijk met slechts 25 punten op een teleurstellende 15de plek.

dat dit nummer 15e is geworden dat is verschrikkelijk. de kwaliteit is prachtig, zie de emotie in dit lied, daarvoor hoef je de tekst niet eens te begrijpen, dat voel je aan.
beetje drammerig en zeurend liedje...Maywood heeft beter gedaan...

Songfestival 1990? Dit nummer staat me nog zo bij dat dat bijna geen 20 jaar geleden kan zijn.
15de plaats met 25 punten, een gebrek aan muzikale opvoeding voor degenen uit de landen die de punten hebben gegeven.
