My Irish Setter Duncan at first wanted to kill all my kitties, he came home with six month, after nine month living with us he became friend with all my kitties, and know he is kind of in love with a little calico kitten I took from the streets, they are all the time playing and kissing each other, all I can see there is love. I had another Irish Damon and he was the best dog ever, he was the papa of all my kitties and the doggies I fostered at home, we miss him a lot!

I see no indication that the animals have a happy or friendly relationship with each other. The dog is constantly seen backing away from the chicken on numerous occasions and in the beginning the relationship looks coerced. Not only that but a dog's natural instinct is to hunt and kill. I am not saying that your dog will do that it just appears to be a contrived relationship.....

I gave you a 5 Star because it was a Beautiful film to watch. Growing up I had pet Birds, Chickens, Ducks and of course Dogs and Cats. All the animals got along and we lived in the City. We were the only family on the block that had a Rooster that woke the neighbors every morning ha ha. I believe a house with Love has Pets that are Happy that Give Love. AS do all the others I too think its cute,very with one reservation I am concerned for the future well being of the chick,one day another dog may stray into you protected garden(I saw a fence) or even a fox or cat god forbid ! and chick decides to play games, I dread to think of the outcome,sorry to rain on your video,this chick might well think a fox is to be played with.(teach him kung foo or something quick) that would be a featherly serious mistake and a sticky ending would ensue cute though

What a gorgeous Irish Retriever! It is so obvious she wants to be friends, but that chicken keeps pecking her! Hopefully soon Bibiu will figure out that Diana has no food on her and things be a little less painful for Diana. I felt so sorry for Diana when she got a peck on the nose. Thank you for sharing.

I've seen these kinds of videos and I'm always charmed at how creatures of differing species can express such caring for each other. It seems that, particularly with the very young, there's a great feeling of understanding and appreciation of the frailty. Not all of them do it, but, enough do that it shows us that the four legged often are not without a respect of their fellow critters.
