Hey this is a good video. Yes he says go ahead alot, I do that too as well but have been cutting down. A CCIE can say "go ahead" as much as they want. When I become a CCIE the FIRST thing I will say is " Let's go ahead and say go ahead. I will go ahead and say I am a CCIE and let's go ahead and remind everyone who the CCIE is and go ahead and remind everyone who is NOT a CCIE"

I'll get my CCIE and I look forward to saying "Go ahead" I think it's a right of passage. haha.

Im thinking about getting into networking but I read mixed opinions about the IT field. Some say its boring, that its a dead end, that its all being outsourced, that they are only doing something 30% of the day the rest they are surfing the internet. Can some people who are actually in the field in high tech positions give me their insight? Do you like your job is it exciting? Im thinking of learning cisco. Id appreciate any help.

GNS3 is good. But the telnet into each console is a PAIN IN THE ASS. You have to point it to local 127.0.0.1, but it can just fail on you. However, If you have the IOS (I have every IOS available) you can have an awesome set up. GNS3 is REALLY hard on your cpu unless you tweak the idle cpu. I personally have 10+ routers and half dozen switches so I use that, but I have used this and it's pretty good.

In response to mushfiqul: you can use PEMU. it`s a PIX emulator. Pleas check the GNS3 project, it installs WinPcap, dynagen, GNS and PEMU. You have to get a PIX image and its serial number.
