damm, I didnt know when attacking you keep going until you have one guy left or if the enemy has no troops left in a territory, I always thought you chose x number of troops to attack x number of enemy troops and if you won then you could choose to attack again or have another territory attack another territory next to it.

I used to have this game. I had too many things happen to me and I eventually snapped the cd. If you have like 12 guys on one spot and lose to a territory with 3 guys (2 Attacking) I would say that is pretty unfair. When that stuff happens multiple times, you gotta go. Still, I kind of miss it though.

i played this and had the most epic fight.

it was me vs a computer and it was 326 (me) vs 281 (cpu) eventually i won with 82 troops left.

The new Risk download is a bit faster but doesn't have the all the game options and 3d battles this does. Risk 2 has a ton of different game types including Mission Risk, Same Time Risk and the Tournament Mode which is really cool.

there's a good case to be made for that. In Risk 1 everything can take place very quickly... Risk 2 is too slow. Even waiting for a battle to engage is like 2-3 seconds of just sitting there. I wish either Risk 1 had a campaign mode or they had the same options in Risk 2 for much faster games.
