Let's think about this logically. You hate Galactic Cowboys because you didn't like the way you sounded when you heard them. Therefore, you're stupid to listen to them again unless you actually liked them, and were in denial over it.
It's one of those phenomenons - production is not mind blowing, genre could be classified as a pretty regular grunge / grungy metal, but something in this song makes me wanna hear it over and over again - it's just fucking awesome! One of those songs that you hear once and remember for the rest of your life.

Actually maybe the other 3 guys ruined the band since they were the ones that wrote everything on the first two albums...but since I have a personal agenda here, I'm just gonna post the same thing under every Galactic Cowboys video --- even the ones Wally isn't on. wally farkas ruined this band. He is a below average guitar player and it inhibited the band. They needed to get a more accomplished player. Farkas is one step above a 13 year old garage band guitarist. I really want to like this band cause their first two cd's were great, and at the end of the day and parts of machine fish were good, bur farkas limits the band!

I was one of the lucky few who got to see them tour behind this album ('Machine Fish'). I drove a couple hundred miles to Charlotte, NC to see them play at a dive called Jeremiah's. Ben and Monty were really nice guys, and the show itself was stellar. It's one of my fondest concert memories.
Can't compare them with anyone else, that's fo sure. I met Monty Colvin at a area club back in 96? when they opened for Kings X Cool guy, amazing huge tone from such a little guy! haha!
I'm Not Amused video is on iTunes MS... so it will probably get pulled if someone puts it up here. FWIW, it's crystal clear and it's far and away the best GC video. Of course when you have a "budget" that's how it goes. hehe
Well, Evil Twin and Nothing to Say are up on Youtube, so it shouldn't be a problem for someone to upload I'm Not Amused to complete the GC videography lol. What is FWIW by the way?
It would be a problem because the rights are owned by different companies. Metal Blade owns the rights to the GC songs on youtube and they are pretty liberal about letting stuff stay up. Atlantic/Rhino owns INA and IIWAK and they are NOT.

To the best of my knowledge, former lead guitarist Monty Colvin currently heads a band by the name of Crunchy, but I am not sure if they're Christian or secular. He also currently calls Kansas City, MO. home.
