is the ati radeon 5770 good for Cod 4 online because I've got a a Nividia GeForce 6100 nForce 405 and im always lagging when i see smoke or when i shoot please some one reply it would be great if you could :)
Sorry you got it wrong, its not pcie 2.1 its 2.0... real big difference as many people have experienced issues with 2.1 cards being backcomp with 1.1/1.0... just had to point that out.
@shyboy2cute yeh gotta check if its 2.0 or 2.1 as there are many versions of 5770 (ie. the older ones and newer ones) but all i know is most if not all ATI cards are now 2.1.. whilst nvidia still is 2.0..
it will cost u more but its worth it since you will have to buy new PSU, mobo (if its not already xfire ready) and cooling solutions to accommodate the extra HD 5770
about 90% of HD 6950 owner have been able to unlock their card into a fully working HD 6970 with firmware upgrade and the HD 6xxx series have better feature and xfire scaling so that might be one more reason for the HD 6950 over 2x 5770.
6770 is the rebranding of the 5770 with the 6770 having 900mhz core and 1050mhz mem speed. The only other diff is that the 6770 has more features like support for up to 6 monitor for eyefinity, AMD HD3D and HDMI 1.4a support - for their version of 3D stereoscopic and UVD3 (i think??) for better blue-ray and video encoding/decoding and better xfire scaling. pricing the 6770 is slightly more expensive. $120 for HD 5770 vapor-x and $135 for HD 6770 vapor -x. your really palying for the new feature
5770 will hang in there, but the 6850 beats the 5770 and 5830 and is updated. Going from $135 for the 5770 to about $180 for the 6850, I'd say go for it if you want.
is there any major differences with this card..... compare to the sapphire radeon HD5770 Vapour-X 1GB GDDR5. apart from the looks of them. ?? reply please
If you live in europe like me Dont! buy this version buy the MSI Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 "HAWK" one as it cools better. You wont have lifetime warrenty cuz of some law in europe that makes the maximum warrenty 2 Years only. If you live in the US get the lifetime warrenty ones.
Wow what a card, i bought a 600watt power suppy from ocz in pc world #69.95 to make sure as best have plenty of juice incase you need it to go with this card, it only uses what it needs so not a drain on your electric bill lol. I run mine with a Asus m2n-68 m/board and a phenom 9600 quad core, if you get 4gig of ram and operate it from windows 7 but 64 bit the graphics rating will be 7.4 on the windows experience (5.9 on a 32 bit system) Highly recommended indeed. By the way the fan is quiet.
if the performance is just this much then whats the difference between this and a 9800GT... I noticed the resolution but is that it??? How would this card fare on 1024x768 compared to 9800GT... I can run gta 4 at 50fps at all times.. Crysis at high 45 - 50fps.. SYstem:- athlon 2 x4 635 overclocked at 3.6ghz with c3 stepping and 2 gigs of ram... Getting an extra gig soon.
Hey! I have a few questions. First, is this card a good enough upgrade from an hd 4650 for the money? Also, which brand is best, HIS? XfX? Powercolor? I think the powercolor one might be best because it doesn't have the plastic cover so it cools easier? What do you think?
what temps is this card running in I was wondering about getting 2 of these but you showed 60+ C on a stock card and holy shit its loud as hell but cools really great lol
OMG people stop buying antec cases! almost every video i have seen somebody is asking whether or not something will fit in there antec. if you have to ask, its probably time to get a better case/ bigger one.

People are telling me that HIS is an inferior company and that I should get the XFX one. However, I could get the HIS 5770 1GB 30$ cheaper than the XFX 5770 1GB. How reliable is the HIS 5770?
people are wrong. get the HIS one comes with Dirt 2 as well. if u want do a small overclock then it can easily perform much better than the XFX overpriced 5770.
@jonassx100 if u have the money an hd 5830 would be better but the 5770 will definetely be able to play at high settings and with anti-aliasing at ur resolution
@jonassx100 srry i didn't reply it's been a long time since i signed in on youtube..
anyway with your resolution the 5770 will definitely play those games at high setting maybe even with anti-aliasing so save a few bucks and get the 5770 ..actually im getting the 5770 soon hopefully and i recommend you get xfx it's a bit more expensive but its worth it the powercolor versions doesnt include the 6 pin connector in the package so get xfx
@Droogie128 actually no its not overkill, standard for crossfire and sli is 750w. you can easily run this at 650w, or even 550w with a quality brand psu, but i would get 750w because, just incase i'm overclocking cpu, or anything i have a little more headroom to play with, also if i'm going to upgrade in the near future, and the video cards will prob consume much power, as it has shown in the years, i'll be covered.
is this the same as DIAMOND 6770PE51GB Radeon HD 6770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card or is it better?

people are wrong. get the HIS one comes with Dirt 2 as well. if u want do a small overclock then it can easily perform much better than the XFX overpriced 5770.
SAM16MM 1 year ago
@SAM16MM
I'm not planning to overclock. How much of a real-world difference is there between HIS and XFX in games, for example?
olyfag 1 year ago
@olyfag XFX is known for good customer service. For that reason I would go with XFX.

or either i shld buy 5830
i want to play gta4,crysis without lags?
PLEASE SUGGEST ME
jonassx100 1 year ago
@jonassx100 if u have the money an hd 5830 would be better but the 5770 will definetely be able to play at high settings and with anti-aliasing at ur resolution
94solidsnake 1 year ago
@jonassx100 what is ur psu?
94solidsnake 1 year ago
@jonassx100 srry i didn't reply it's been a long time since i signed in on youtube..
anyway with your resolution the 5770 will definitely play those games at high setting maybe even with anti-aliasing so save a few bucks and get the 5770 ..actually im getting the 5770 soon hopefully and i recommend you get xfx it's a bit more expensive but its worth it the powercolor versions doesnt include the 6 pin connector in the package so get xfx

i have a 350W PSU and atm i have Ati radeon hd 3650 witch is slow and i want to buy this one but does my psu work ?
stronger61 1 year ago
@stronger61 On the box it says you'll need 450W at least, that's about as much as i know

how big PSU will i need to power 2 of these?
124Z312 1 year ago
@124Z312 750watt
iMoreAsianR 1 year ago
@iMoreAsianR Lol. 750 is complete overkill. I run 2 GTX470's on 750. The 5770 only draws 108w at full load.
Droogie128 1 year ago
@Droogie128 actually no its not overkill, standard for crossfire and sli is 750w. you can easily run this at 650w, or even 550w with a quality brand psu, but i would get 750w because, just incase i'm overclocking cpu, or anything i have a little more headroom to play with, also if i'm going to upgrade in the near future, and the video cards will prob consume much power, as it has shown in the years, i'll be covered.
iMoreAsianR 1 year ago
@124Z312 600 watt PSU with two 6 pin connectors for ATI crossfireX
marlo1204 1 year ago
@marlo1204 could i run like a Corsair Hx650w?
124Z312 1 year ago
@124Z312 as long as your have two 6 pin connectors yep it should work.
marlo1204 1 year ago
@124Z312
a 650 watt psu would power 2 of these cards fine. But make sure you get a psu of decent quality. The Corsair HX650W is a very good power supply.

Will it run on a 450 W power supply pleeeeazee answer :'-( I *tear* really want this card
V1CCZ3XX 1 year ago
@V1CCZ3XX If it is a name brand PSU, then yeah, more than likely. All depends on what else you have your system loaded with.

@AaastaZetaan Hey, If I want to play dx11 games, the only thing I need is graphic card which supports dx11?

@singre88 if your motherboard supports windows 7 you should be able to install dx11 since vista comes with 10.1
