  • is this the same as DIAMOND 6770PE51GB Radeon HD 6770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card or is it better?

  • @danisasuperbeast or is the one i said better than this one**

  • that fan is louder then my whole computer :o

  • I run this card with bf3 on 1920x1080 no problem. Medium-high settings, no fps drops whatsoever, ofcourse with a decent quadcore cpu.

  • Sorry you got it wrong, its not pcie 2.1 its 2.0... real big difference as many people have experienced issues with 2.1 cards being backcomp with 1.1/1.0... just had to point that out.

  • @MTran0708 what? its not? awe man.... i wanted to take it out of my work PC and put it in my gameing RIG

  • @shyboy2cute yeh gotta check if its 2.0 or 2.1 as there are many versions of 5770 (ie. the older ones and newer ones) but all i know is most if not all ATI cards are now 2.1.. whilst nvidia still is 2.0..

  • Can I install the 5770 in a single pci-e x16 1.0 slot? I think it's backwards compatible...

  • @masterchief2nd Can you??

  • will my cpu bottleneck this card it is the AMD phenom II X4 820 @ 2.8ghz

and is it a good upgrade for my hd 5670 as I want a good card to run bf3 at about high/medium settings at about 1280x720 or 1600x900

  • @TheBobster97 5770 is best for 1440x900. the resolutions you are running are pretty high, I'd recommend the 6850.

  • crapped out on me short of 5months

  • @nw0 Warranty?

  • @Knightman963 yeayea 2 years they're in possession of it now still waiting on the final word tho

  • 6950 is powerful. Maybe I should sell my 5770. ??

  • if you crossfire these it sounds like a airport in your room when under load x_x

  • how much power suply watts does it need?

  • Great card goin to upgrade my old card to that HD 5770 1GB :p

  • @lDR4X wait! i'd rather go for HD 6770.. its just the same w/ HD 5770 but it is higher than the 5770. :-)

  • @ThePakenshet i have HD 6850 now !

    Thx for reply anyway (:

  • HD 6950 > HD 5870 = HD 5770 xfire

it will cost u more but its worth it since you will have to buy new PSU, mobo (if its not already xfire ready) and cooling solutions to accommodate the extra HD 5770

about 90% of HD 6950 owner have been able to unlock their card into a fully working HD 6970 with firmware upgrade and the HD 6xxx series have better feature and xfire scaling so that might be one more reason for the HD 6950 over 2x 5770.

  • @pommejus hey thanks for your answer its much appreciated im gonna take your advice thanks : )

  • what is better to run 2X 5770 in crossfire or a HD 6950 2GB

  • 6770 is the rebranding of the 5770 with the 6770 having 900mhz core and 1050mhz mem speed. The only other diff is that the 6770 has more features like support for up to 6 monitor for eyefinity, AMD HD3D and HDMI 1.4a support - for their version of 3D stereoscopic and UVD3 (i think??) for better blue-ray and video encoding/decoding and better xfire scaling. pricing the 6770 is slightly more expensive. $120 for HD 5770 vapor-x and $135 for HD 6770 vapor -x. your really palying for the new feature

  • 6770 or 5770?

  • @Randomstation Depends on your budget.

  • @Randomstation there almost exactly the same but the 6770 is newer so get that

  • How powerful the 5770 be if crossfire?

Im asking because Im thinking of buying another card.

By the way, I love this card!!

  • @1202raher

i think its the same or slightly better then the HD 5850

  • he really like HIS

  • Could I run this on a 500Watt PSU its an antec earthwatts 80plus

  • @PADPhilAdamDitchin Yes, definitely! The recommended PSU is actually 450. 500 is absolutely perfect.

  • @UsmaanPro running on an ocz stealth extreme 400W psu here no problems for over a year, so 450 or 500W is completely fine indeed ^^

  • could you speak any faster at the start? good video though...

  • That's A Lamborghini Mucilage sound

  • Would it be worth paying slightly more for a ATI Radeon HD 5830 1GB Or will this card be more than sufficient for Current / upcoming games?

  • @Baneful1

5770 will hang in there, but the 6850 beats the 5770 and 5830 and is updated. Going from $135 for the 5770 to about $180 for the 6850, I'd say go for it if you want.

  • I have to speak up on skype when i run this card at max fan speed =S

  • My 5770 is based on the RV840 core :O But this is the RV850? I'm confused :S

  • my card idles at 39.0c @40% fan-speed. :)

  • @DoMiNaToR2465 Same mine is nowhere near as hot as His it

  • is there any major differences with this card..... compare to the sapphire radeon HD5770 Vapour-X 1GB GDDR5. apart from the looks of them. ?? reply please

  • If you live in europe like me Dont! buy this version buy the MSI Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 "HAWK" one as it cools better. You wont have lifetime warrenty cuz of some law in europe that makes the maximum warrenty 2 Years only. If you live in the US get the lifetime warrenty ones.

  • are you in a sauna or something my exact same his 5770 idles at 46 Celsius and never gets above 57 Celsius at full load with my fan speed at 35%

  • WHY WHY WHY ALL THOOSE ARE 128 BIT!!!!!! the gt9600 has 256 bit thats why is so kickass (and expensive) plz whats the cheaepr ati with 256 bit card

  • @TheBigupz what your failing to realize, the DDR5 RAM in it more than makes up for the 128-bit interface. the 9600gt has ddr3.

  • @aralius145 nah it doesent i got an 5550 with ddr5 and 128 and the 9600 stills better lower win expirience but higher perfomance

  • Would this card work on a Asus P5G41C-m ? Having trouble deciding between this and a 5870. Would a 5870 work with that board?

  • Wow what a card, i bought a 600watt power suppy from ocz in pc world #69.95 to make sure as best have plenty of juice incase you need it to go with this card, it only uses what it needs so not a drain on your electric bill lol. I run mine with a Asus m2n-68 m/board and a phenom 9600 quad core, if you get 4gig of ram and operate it from windows 7 but 64 bit the graphics rating will be 7.4 on the windows experience (5.9 on a 32 bit system) Highly recommended indeed. By the way the fan is quiet.

  • @MinttyDizzy It MAY be the CPU that does it. And you'll probably have an issue with the power supply. AMD recommends 450 watts or more.

  • I feel like I need a nap after I watch one of your videos because you talk so dang fast lol.

  • if the performance is just this much then whats the difference between this and a 9800GT... I noticed the resolution but is that it??? How would this card fare on 1024x768 compared to 9800GT... I can run gta 4 at 50fps at all times.. Crysis at high 45 - 50fps.. SYstem:- athlon 2 x4 635 overclocked at 3.6ghz with c3 stepping and 2 gigs of ram... Getting an extra gig soon.

  • this, 6850, 5850, or 5830

im on a budget, so which is best bang for the buck

  • Man that thing is LOUD!!! (can you hear me)

  • HIS graphics not YOURS

  • will this run with a 500watt corsair builder and i cant upgrade te psu

  • @badgerfrommars i run this card and a phenom ii x4 955 on 500 watt no prob

  • @PureOxCash thanks dude

  • whats the difference in card names?

    (xfx, asus, his, ect)

  • @dethklok1989 Name and picture on the card

  • Gee Dee Dee Argh 5

  • @garymofo2 lol

  • 485 watt enermax power supply is that good enough for this card??

    please reply someone

  • @buyneee yeah its ok.because it requires minimum of 450 W.but if you are buying a new PSU,then i would recommend 600W.

  • i am thinking about buys HD 5770 should i buy it or not????

  • @Darbaz09

If it's the highest end card you're looking at, sure. There's better ones but it's good.

  • @Darbaz09 get it, for the money its the shit

  • I believe its 2.0 not 2.1 pci E

  • @TKORob ur correct

  • Will this card be a good upgrade from my current 8800GT?

  • @Evilution80 big upgrade

  • wait! why does HIS have 2 seperate HD 5770s? how can i tell the difference on a website?

  • Hey! I have a few questions. First, is this card a good enough upgrade from an hd 4650 for the money? Also, which brand is best, HIS? XfX? Powercolor? I think the powercolor one might be best because it doesn't have the plastic cover so it cools easier? What do you think?

  • what temps is this card running in I was wondering about getting 2 of these but you showed 60+ C on a stock card and holy shit its loud as hell but cools really great lol

  • what temps is this card running in I was wondering about getting 2 of these but you showed 60+ C on a stock card

  • I've got the XFX 5770 XXX (ZNDA) Runs normal on 875/1300 Mhz.

    On my system overclocked @ 920/1400 Mhz,.Fan Speed 75%

Buy it for 144€, 2 of them reach the 5970 card.

  • @PsycoHaze Nah, Crossfired 5770's are only about as good as the 5870; they're not even close to as good as the 5970.

  • OMG people stop buying antec cases! almost every video i have seen somebody is asking whether or not something will fit in there antec. if you have to ask, its probably time to get a better case/ bigger one.

  • Comment removed

  • Can the antec 300 fit two of theses?

  • Best card iv bought since the 9700 Pro.

    Runs F1 2010 & Dirt 2 @ High, and BC 2 and MOH @ Medium.

    @ 1650 x 1080 with a Athlon II X2 3.0G

  • ive heard in many cases u will get a card that locks up is that true

  • is this card faster & better than the 4890

  • @shaban96 yes

  • @shaban96 no even the 4870 is quite better but the 5770 has a lower power consuption

  • @daholmes25 funny, all the benchmarks I've seen sees this card leaving the 4870 behind. care to back this up maybe?

  • @kaih8941

Depends on the game, 5770 is a bit faster but the 4870 has better bandwidth.

  • @Usul573 remember dx11 support

  • @dskater99

Except it isn't capable of rendering dx11 at an acceptable framerate. Try again.

  • @Ritcherscream724 it is capable at rendering dx11 at resonable framrates at lower resolutions 1440 X 900 for example on metro 2033

  • nice sharp pencil!!

    XD

  • Im sorry, this is a poor review, you basically told me everything I could have easily found on the product website. I want your opinion, is it worth getting, what's a better alternative, is it a good bang for buck? Just something to think about.

  • @calisaetia

    its def bang for buck

    ...

also crossfire it with another 5770 and its a fkin beast

  • is a 500W power supply enough to run this video card?

  • @PhuTube714

    yes more than enuf

  • @PhuTube714 its should be enough they recommand a a 450 watt powersupply

for crossfire you need atleast 600 watt

  • My friend Brett says nice pencil :)

  • I got mine running at 925 Mhz by 1350 Mhz and it runs EVERYTHING at MAX settings. I play with VSync so I like that it always stays at 60 fps

  • you talk FAST! :O

  • Wow! Another HIS video card review Rodney. You should get an HIS t-shirt when reviewing your video cards or or any HIS shit you review. I guess you never heard about ASUS, SAPPHIRE, POWERCOLOR and all that other brands of video cards. I have an ASUS motherboard and it has an hardware option for better performance of ASUS video cards. Can you comment on that? Thanks.

  • @arvelos76 GTFO

  • @SuperSONYdude You GTFO you needle dick geek!

  • @SuperSONYdude He does have a point though.

  • is the palit radeon hd 4870 better ??

  • @R3n3s0nyk1ll

5770 is better in every way, except the 4870 has better bandwidth, they end up performing pretty close.

  • I always feel like your video's arnt reviews but just telling us about the product with none of your oppinions

  • starts to get to loud at 70

  • yu speek like a row bott

  • you speak so fast it's hard to understand

  • @fjh1616 Really? I think he is very clear, and speaks at a good speed. He's not too fast for me, but talks fast enough to keep things moving.

  • is an upgrade from a gts250 1gb? the 5770 only has a 128 bit bus width thats pretty lame..

  • @TheAntman2006

It's about 15% faster than a GTS 250, but that's probably not worth upgrading for.

It may have a 128 bit bus but it has quad pumped 1200 MHz GDDR5 memory, that's effectively 4800 MHz speed.

  • @Usul573 actually yes its worth upgrading, because it'll run way faster and better in the newer dx11 games. this card is already better, and will be even more better in the future.

  • @iMoreAsianR

I dunno, if you're not too into DX11 games, and there's only seven games that use it for slightly enhanced graphics, well, DX11 is good to have.

  • @TheAntman2006 this card is already faster the the gts250 in dx10 games, but this card is future proof and will destroy it in dx11 games, which what most new games are going to have

  • good for future (=

  • More of an Nvidia person, but one thing I love about the look of this card, is how the rear where the connectors go looks like some type of jet exhaust or something to me. :)

  • what is the program you used to adjust the fan speed?

  • i can only use 4g of ram ddr3 (2 ram memories 2g each) but this grafic card is gddr5 am i able to use this grafic card?

  • @Arvish1321 yes

  • @Arvish1321 Yes. The 4g limit is simply the most you can put on your motherboard. Vram is different. You can use whatever the card has.

  • Now my 4870 looks like crap :(

  • How much is this an upgrade to a 384 EN9600GSO?

  • @jleack A LOT DUDE.

  • @LuigiVN Bought it and installed it two days ago. I'm loving it so far.

  • @jleack yeah, 9600GSO is pretty bad...specially if it's a DDR2 edition... anyway, enjoy it... Mine will be arriving soon =)

  • and wth my dual bfg 9800 oc gtx+ cards, dual core 3.1ghz, ddr2 800mhz ram, regular wd hd, gets those same frame rates on Crysis on High....consistent 30-40 except on like just a few parts, in fact just some of the train part in Warhead..

  • @darknessofkrish well you never got the coupon for the -DX11- game Dirt 2 mmm DX11 :) yummy

  • half way through the video, i began to think about all the varying iterations of all the varying cards of any manufacturer.. for some reason i then began to miss LAN cafe's.. is it that I miss that community? We all split up and went out of state to live or to college.. and those lan cafe's are closed now (cause then we all got our own comps and stopped going as much :P )

  • People are telling me that HIS is an inferior company and that I should get the XFX one. However, I could get the HIS 5770 1GB 30$ cheaper than the XFX 5770 1GB. How reliable is the HIS 5770?

  • @olyfag

people are wrong. get the HIS one comes with Dirt 2 as well. if u want do a small overclock then it can easily perform much better than the XFX overpriced 5770.

  • @SAM16MM

I'm not planning to overclock. How much of a real-world difference is there between HIS and XFX in games, for example?

  • @olyfag XFX is known for good customer service. For that reason I would go with XFX.

  • which one would be the best xfx , HIS, sapphire

also is it comrs with any free game

  • psu dont matter i will buy a new one according to my graphic card

  • I should have got this instead of a GTS 250 :(

  • Nice Video thanks

  • KICKASS

  • i have c2d e7400 2.8ghz can be oc to 3.46ghz

    3gbddr2ram ,18.5" lcd @1366x768

    shld i buy 5770

will i be able to play gta4,crysis on high settings with good fps at rez 1366x768 with 5770

or either i shld buy 5830

i want to play gta4,crysis without lags?

    PLEASE SUGGEST ME

  • @jonassx100 if u have the money an hd 5830 would be better but the 5770 will definetely be able to play at high settings and with anti-aliasing at ur resolution

  • @jonassx100 what is ur psu?

  • @jonassx100 srry i didn't reply it's been a long time since i signed in on youtube..

anyway with your resolution the 5770 will definitely play those games at high setting maybe even with anti-aliasing so save a few bucks and get the 5770 ..actually im getting the 5770 soon hopefully and i recommend you get xfx it's a bit more expensive but its worth it the powercolor versions doesnt include the 6 pin connector in the package so get xfx

  • Comment removed

  • i have a 350W PSU and atm i have Ati radeon hd 3650 witch is slow and i want to buy this one but does my psu work ?

  • @stronger61 On the box it says you'll need 450W at least, that's about as much as i know

  • i bought the asus version. i have only 1 hdmi 1 dvi 1 something else. sucks!

  • how big PSU will i need to power 2 of these?

  • @124Z312 750watt

  • @iMoreAsianR Lol. 750 is complete overkill. I run 2 GTX470's on 750. The 5770 only draws 108w at full load.

  • @Droogie128 actually no its not overkill, standard for crossfire and sli is 750w. you can easily run this at 650w, or even 550w with a quality brand psu, but i would get 750w because, just incase i'm overclocking cpu, or anything i have a little more headroom to play with, also if i'm going to upgrade in the near future, and the video cards will prob consume much power, as it has shown in the years, i'll be covered.

  • @124Z312 600 watt PSU with two 6 pin connectors for ATI crossfireX

  • @marlo1204 could i run like a Corsair Hx650w?

  • @124Z312 as long as your have two 6 pin connectors yep it should work.

  • @124Z312

a 650 watt psu would power 2 of these cards fine. But make sure you get a psu of decent quality. The Corsair HX650W is a very good power supply.

  • Will it run on a 450 W power supply pleeeeazee answer :'-( I *tear* really want this card

  • @V1CCZ3XX If it is a name brand PSU, then yeah, more than likely. All depends on what else you have your system loaded with.

  • anyone knows what is the max overclock this card can go? mine is clocked at 960 / 1443 ,it is stable and temps are 45C idle and max 71C(full load)

  • can my acbel 660 ipower can handle this?

  • do i have to have a amd cpu or can i have a intel cpu?

  • @komplex71 any

  • @komplex71 aight thx

  • can this graphic card supports dx 10.1?

    thx

  • @singre88 it supports dx 11

  • @AaastaZetaan Hey, If I want to play dx11 games, the only thing I need is graphic card which supports dx11?

    Does anything depends on motherboard?

I don't realy know if my MB supports dx11; I have ASRock H55M; (It's NOT PRO or LE)

    THX so much M8!

  • @singre88 if your motherboard supports windows 7 you should be able to install dx11 since vista comes with 10.1

  • @marlo1204 Yes, my motherboard DOES support windows 7,

    thx again m8!

  • @singre88 no problem :D

  • And why you have so high temperatures ?!

    My 5770 have ~ 37 at Idle

    and Load 50 ~

    :>

  • very good card ;)

I can play all games maxed out :))

modern warefare 2 runs great <3

  • Thanks man, all i needed was this to made my desicion, now i'll get this babe soon
