Why do people in this country not get that they do not have health care choices the way it exists now. Or do you not have to choose a doctor in a provider group? I am fortunate enough to be able to handle my premiumnbut many others aren't. You can use the excuse of people educating themselves to get a better job but it would seem that the demand for jobs outweigh the supply. Educated people are making 10-14 dollars per hour which is not enough to afford these premiums.

The party supported higher tariffs of foreign goods not the people. They also supported broader federal power in the army and internationally (Annexation of Hawaii Ect.) Not on the people.

Even when you are in an accident you have to remember to tell the ambulance driver to take you to a particular hospital or it cost you a lot more when you end at one that is not in your network. How is that choice. In Germany under universal healthcare I could pick any doctor I liked. I had real choice.

I feel like you don't understand what "by the people" means. What we have lost in America is the understanding the WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT. It is not a matter of us verses them, but of "we need to take control of our own government". A government run health plan would not mean the government owns you, but that but that we as a country are aiding one another in being able to have healthcare. "What one alone can't pay, all together can" Welfare economics it all relates, pay it forward.

Generally, as an internet rule, the way to spot a racist is you look for someone who says, "I'm not a racist..." and then read the rest of the sentence. If 12% of douchey liberals think you're racist, so what? That's the same percentage of people that believe Obama is literally the Antichrist. When you venomously hate a guy that is effectively no different from Bush, and you DIDN'T hate Bush, then it is reasonable to assume that the hate comes from something other than policy descisions....

I challenged your assertion that Lincoln was for slavery by citing the famous Lincoln-Douglas debates where he argued the immorality of slavery in the public forum. And anyone who doesn't think some part of the stubborn opposition to and, especially, the disgusting vilification of our president and first lady, is based on some degree of racism, is unrealistic at best.

As a result of an asthma attack I was denied health insurance at one company. I was laid off and on unemployment then but found a job a month later. I pay 1058 dollars per month to ensure myself and my child. It would have been more if my husband was added. He is a developer whose job was outsourced and is lookin

@QTstorm7 finishing comment @Bootcheck89RS. Since he is in IT he may be able to find contract work soon which is better than the outlook for some people who have lost their jobs. I am fortunate enough to be able to handle my premiumnbut many others aren't. You can use the excuse of people educating themselves to get a better job but it would seem that the demand for jobs outweigh the supply. Educated people are making 10-14 dollars per hour which is not enough to afford these premiums.
