@BlossySnap no. actually, the good anime that is not a version of higurashi. it is just created by the same guy, and thus there is a few supposed connectoion.
@BlossySnap Umineko is made by the same people as Higurashi, but it's supposed to be completely different. And it is. Apart from both having a time loop, there isn't anything similar about them. The Umineko anime may be kind of bad, but the VNs are amazing. They were just really long and didn't adapt well into an anime.
This song has some serious surreal dream properties :O The melody's so familiar, yet i forget it as soon as i stop listening. i have to come back to remember the tune again.
@narutofan9999 Ik but its what we find out later in the show that it is Homuro. The only reason the show was at the point in time is because of Homuro.
Does anyone know which song played when Kyoko & Sakura were in Kyoko's fathers church & Sayaka asked about the apples, during episode 7?
That song is extremely close to this one, except there something is different about the one in that scene, most notifiable after Kyoko is told off by Sayaka & Sayaka walks out of the church...
I absolutely will treasure the story as a whole for a long, long time, but I'm terribly sad that I'm pretty much the only one around my friends and family who appreciates animes like this ;_; They stereotype anime too much and make fun of me for enjoying it >:[
@loveanime101 It is a wonderful anime, your family and friends shouldn't be so stereotpyical, more importantly you shouldn't be too annoyed by it. Instead if I were you I would laugh in their faces and brag how great it is ^^ Besides there are many other people who enjoyed this anime, I called this anime a masterpiece and it's the only one so far I seen.
@ONS3Tnow Magi is magician in latin and I think it's the same for Japanese and a Puella is a girl I forget what language though so Puella Magi is the same thing as saying Mahou Shoujo which is magical girl so no none of the words are indecipherable
@1001Lai actually, Puella means Magical, Magi means Girl. what it really means in latin is The Girl of Witches. something along those lines. Everything else that isnt japanese or english in the manga/anime is latin. Except for the lyrics, those are in Kajiurago, a made up language by Yuki. most likely she made up an entire language to freely express emotions rather than meaning.
i really think this song talks about the story of most of the puella magical girls pains. Knowing that you're fighting what you will soon turn into. Letting all for what you stand for be destroyed and soon have another go threw what you have done in a never ending loop. God this anime is depressing
@Spagittified well... if you mean ending from what you would expect from the first episode then yes, that was VERY unexpected. If you mean ending from watching all the episodes then not really because I think one or two episodes before the last they pretty clearly said what they were going to do. I am pretty sure about that only because I just watched it like 2 weeks ago xD
@DilzwieldKing I wouldn't say everything is alright again. It's a sad ending to the anime, which I did not like. Why do all the best anime out there ALWAYS have sad and/or gruesome endings? Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Kuroshitsuji 1 & 2, I My Me Strawberry Eggs (not many know of it, great anime though), Elfen Lied (it was okay, kinda... meh... I didn't really like Lucy/Nyu), Princess Tutu (classic anime, has somewhat of a happy ending though), and so forth.
@doanhduc Not really. The composer, Yuki Kajiura, did found Kalafina after all. So she would have influence over the sound of their songs. Which would make it sound similar to her solo works as well.
because being magica is suffering....
