jesus whats with all the comment about "thats not k2" and shit. You're not a genius. of course it isnt you think they're gunna film a movie on the real k2? fuckin aye. idiots.
Couldn't stand the phony heroics and the phoney emotions. This bunch had an emotional range of #2. Oh for some real human beings, instead of this bunch of g.d. Actors. Actually, th big guy with the blonde hair IS a wonderful actor in other films, like "Clean & Sober', but not in this movie. if these actors didn't talk, it might have been a better movie. The minute they utterred even one word, it was enough to make you vomit!
@aditzaditzaditza - ever read the book "Into Thin Air?" K2 is FAR more deadly than Everest, yet far less get to climb it. Yet.. you don't hear much about it do ya?
That would be one awesome workout...I climbed Mt Apo in the Philippines and is the largest mountain there. That was the best workout I had in a long time and I am a professional martial artist. If it werent for my muscle memory and fitness it wouldve been extremely tough.
sorry but the acting is kinda shit. for a really good mountaineering movie look up Touching the Void. It's a true story, and and the series of events is way more interesting
you ass holes this is just a mouvie. a story about friendship , trust and courage.everithing at high altitude.if you want reality wach a documentary.i love this mouvie.
this movie is baaad!! i didnt know of everything was a movie, true or false..climbing movie is best when they are documentaries like Everest - Beyong the limit 1 and 2, IMAX Everest when many climber lost their lives, one was Rob Hall, that movie is good and also Everest Unmasked with Messner and Habeler.
Read Jim Curran's book "K2 Triumph & Tragedy" to get a more realistic version of K2. This movie was loosely based on Jim Wickwire's first ascent (by an American) of K2 in 1978. His book "Addicted to Danger" is a must read.
ok sorry about the spanish comment...i just said that i think its bullshit that the music from the soundtrack its different of the music they play in the movie..cause its the music that makes this movie so powerfull... freacking sellfish they dont wanna share the real music with us true fans of this awesome film...peace everyone..

That's right, find the soundtrack ( Hans Zimmer ) and feel it, find the different.
This moving picture is realy touch me since 1990. It's about not being selfist at last.
