  • When I do squats I get over use of quads, under use of glutes. Is there anything I can do to balance out the muscles?

  • dude I did the workout without the Krispy Kreme part... Its kicked my ass.. Every minute on the minute for an hour with 1 plate and to mix it up I also did 10 pushups and 5 pullups in between sets, alternating of course. So total... 300 Squat, 300 pushups, and 150 situps after an hour. Good workout man, keep them coming! :D

    We were having a friendly competition and put a spin to it. Yes, it was my idea.

    The other guy I'm competing with is one of the trainers at that gym and I've posted two other vids of our competitions. And in the end since neither of us could even finish one dozen between the two of us, we gave the other dozen to the rest of the staff. I guess that's a douche thing to do as well. To each their own, man. Besides I don't need a good personality anyway, I have abs. :P

You are correct in your assumption that a good leg workout will amp up test, but you should keep the reps low and train for explosiveness and performance; Not for failure and glycogen depletion if you are training to get test levels up. try it.... you will see that you feel depleted and drained. I like the methodology of chasing performance, not fatigue. I'm not hating on timba, hes a fuckin killer in the gym! mad props btw on this workout. I like th

  • Hum...at that rate you will have eaten 35 krispy kreme's by the end of the hour...which seems like a very aggressive and lofty goal on the donuts. As for the squats...No Sweat...unless you have a sugar stroke in the process!

    Only 5 reps. On the last set I did 10. 310 total this time. A couple years ago I did this, I did 10 of the 59th set and 30 something on the last set but ended up with exercise cephalalgia that lasted for 2 weeks.

  • @timbahwolf I'm a personal trainer also, recently certified, but isn't 60 sets of squats bad for you? Even if it is 1/3 - 1/4 of your max timbah? (Yes, I'm asking for your advice since you're a more experienced personal trainer)
