  • look it is baby sized!

    if babys played insruments

  • Sounds excellent, I play french horn and trumpet, and I was thinking about getting one of these so i could play a more jazzy genre, do you know of any beginers Jazz songs on Soprano?

  • @KeeganProduction

Trumpet is a fine instrument for jazz. Start listening to some Miles Davis and Lee Morgan!

  • im just learning and i sound terrible

  • Nice bent soprano sax. Beautiful sound!

  • @djmartinhodge its a curved not bent lol

  • I always liked curved soprano's better, perhaps inspired by the toontown tuners of disneyworld (look em up on here)...I think they sound less oboeish

  • great performance

    but...idk why....but I hate curved soprano saxaphones...lol

  • real saxophonist play curved!!!

  • whatever

  • haha that's so tiny!

  • Who wrote this jazz tune. I like it! Good stuff Carlos.

  • Dude you need to learn to relax....but you do sound great :)

  • Awesome. Hey i need peoples advice id be grateful if you can help. I want to learn sax and have done for a few years i just had to finish off flute and piano on grade5 to get another instrument. I was thinking of soprano sax but its not like yours. Its like a clarinet just sax style. Do you know if that has a good sound?? Whats best sax to buy??

  • ok usually the straight ones are a little more reliable and have a better tone. but it depends on you. i think the straight ones are better

  • who says the straight ones have a better tone ????

  • it is the same i just believe the straigh soprano looks better for big guys. and the curve one is better for little people

  • You should try alto saxophone first! Soprano saxophone is really hard to study, or how to say.. It is really hard to get the tone sound nice !!!

  • Ah thanks much appreciated XD

  • @raintrops yes that is very true however the soprano does have the same conceapt and fingering

  • aww that sax is sooo cute!

  • its a soprano...its gonna be small...=D

  • Beautiful job!

  • man i really like ur playing dude imna watch more of ur vids keep kickin ass man

  • Very nice!! Keep it up!

  • first of all, i applaud your courage to post a video of yourself playing. but i must say that before recording yourself, you should go and buy a tuner because you are hideously flat! and maybe ease up on the vibrato... please... but otherwise nice vid!

  • ahhh very nice well done!

  • intéressant mais souvent faux!!!! est ce le sax ou l'interprète ?????

  • I own an old conn curved soprano saxophone from around 1914 these are such beautiful sounding horns - the sound you get with that mouthpiece setup on that horn is great for this style, but i think that the warmth that these vintage horns provides might be a little TOO dark for this style. However I applaud your choice of saxophone and vintage :) Also, excellent intonation, as its quite difficult to control on these old horns

  • Is it in c?

  • No it isn't it is in Bb - Curved sopranos in C are so rare that there are only 2 known to exist on the planet.

  • I swear I almost bought one. 1910 Conn. The guy sold it before I could get the money. It was a curved, in C. He had the origional owners card

  • Well then if thats the case then you found yourself quite a rare little treat - Of course I believe a horn like that would really only be good as a collectible as it was most likely quite out of tune and probably couldn't play very well like most C saxophones.

  • Yeah i knew it was rare, but i didn't know it was that rare. I'm mostly an Alto/Tenor player but it played pretty well. The guy who had it did alot of repair work to it.

  • great sound!

  • OMG thats a cute saxohpone!

  • this is awesome! i'm learning to play soprano myself i want to learn to play this song after watching this vid. you wouldn't happen to have the sheet music to it would you

  • This is wonderful!!! I play soprano sax too, but mine is straight, not a funky curvy one!!

  • wow dude u inspired me,i saw ur vid of careless whisper and i learned it from hearing you.

  • wow this is beautiful

  • thats not a suprano sax

  • You are right man, this is not a suprano sax, this is a soprano sax.

Great point. I see that you are a saxophone expert.

    Regards.

  • hahahahaha....

    wat an idiot!

ps - lovely man, really beautiful...

  • Yes, it IS a Soprano Saxophone, they are either straight or curved, I should know, I play it!!!! Anyway, it's spelt Soprano NOT suprano!!!!

  • lol suprano u must feel like an idiot

  • @khmaster4 Yeah it's not a suprano but its a curved soprano sax. Although you don't see them as much. they exist

  • @khmaster4 first spell soprano right 2nd you can get curved soprano saxs u know......

  • fantastic.....i jus love the sound of sax n of all the ones iv listened to so far on youtube this is one of best

  • Amazing!

I don't know why this song is only rated 3.5 at the moment but i'd definitely say 5. I mean i was contemplating whether or not to watch because of the rating, but i'm real glad i did.

  • are u stupid? post up a video of u playing the sax.. do it i bet u dont even know wat a sax is.. mind u to much of a fucking pussy to post up a video

  • NICE!

  • lol its tiny:O

  • Just about dead solid perfect. A nice change from some of the other sopranos on this board.

  • The only bad part is that it had to end. I have to be honest, I thought this was going to be mediocre. Your sound was amazing!

  • Great player......subscribed

  • good song man

    it relaxed me;)
