I always enjoy interviews with Vincent. He always comes across as being very intelligent and puts thought into his words. As a long term Morbid Angel fan, I was pretty upset when he left the band, but I'm glad to see that he is in the studio with them once again. Really looking forward to the new album.

totally agree with many of the comments. Once upon a time there was MTV with Vanessa Warwick, Steve Blame, Pip Dan, Christiana Becker, Ray Cokes, Paul King, Simone and a few rappers/rap DJs and an Indie music guy whose names I forget. They knew their music, were good journalists and provided a huge, diverse, mixture of pop and alternative music to suit all as well as fashion and film reviews. MTV today...don't watch it.

Maybe in your Opinion I love Heretic even though there is no low end on the tracks at all. Each record is a representation of the artists at that given time. In 2003 Trey wanted a more old school dry vibe and that's what we got. Each Record may have some lacking tunes (Which is a rarity for the gods of death metal :) but eventually you learn to appreciate the faults and the mistakes as much as the planned parts or the really kick ass parts.

Initally I hated Heretic back in 2003. While putting away my laundry two years ago, I happened to hear this song on some sattelite channel and I looked at the title. It was Morbid Angel's Beneath The Hollow. I thought it was a pretty good enough song that I purchased the cd a few weeks later. Either way, I still think Heretic was not their strongest effort. However, I accept it for what it is. Glad I picked it up, even if it's not all that great.
