Thanks, you showed me exactly where to mount the ballast, which was the problem I was having! The only problem I have is I dont have a CAI on the driver side yet, so I cant mount my ballast to that bolt there with the factory intake there. I guess I will just zip tie that location until i get my CAI.
I wouldn't have grounded it to the plastic headlight. Yes its touching metal. But a good ground is all metal. The body panel bolt just a couple inches from that bolt would be much better.
Very true, an all metal ground would be better. However, the body panel bolts are much larger and would involve replacing the terminal on the wire with a larger one. I would have done this, but wanted to keep the how-to as simple as possible.

I need some advice guys. Won't changing the 2005-2009 lights into HID actually cause people to get blinded/possible tickets?
Because it is basically a halogen system with HID...The new cars with factory HID (from all makes) come from a projector system don't they?
Sorry I do not know much about headlights but I want to do a proper HID system on my 2006 V6 Mustang
